Adrian Pallo is a promising writer whose screenplay was acquired for an Independent film
starring his wife, Suzanne Pallo. Suzanne is critical of Adrian's inability to break free of what she calls his "conservative tendencies" which prevent him from exploring and developing Suzanne's character.
Adrian is resistant to delve into the character's innate demons and conflicts through sexual trial to enable their natural progression and this is stifling his re-write of the big seduction sequence. Adrian realizes he is squandering an opportunity to establish himself as a viable contemporary risk-taker while limiting Suzanne's character arc.
The film's director, Maxwell Halliday, a man with his own agenda, has insinuated himself as Suzanne's proclaimed emotional visionary. Maxwell's insistence that a re-write of the script is necessary to the progression of Suzanne's character exacerbates her turbulent relationship with Adrian.
Suzanne insists that Adrian sign-up for an actor-intensive program run by MaxÂ’s wife, Galena Votros. Adrian reluctantly agrees to participate in this radically progressive workshop where he learns that when you look deeply at your inhibitions, you may uncover your true desires and lifeÂ’s direction.
