A breath of fresh air in this oppressive outrage culture
Welcome back Dave. And Eddie seems to be coming back, maybe we get another good special.
So wonderful to see someone with backbone telling jokes. All we have nowadays are terrible (Rogan,Schumer) and/or 100% politically correct comedians (pick most talkshow hosts or most comedians from Hart to Seinfeld). Its refreshing to have someone who isnt afraid to joke about this frightened, oppressed and brainwashed people that make up our society. People arent even sure what is offensive and what not anymore and mental inbalance or plain crazy have become identities rather than issues to fix with therapy.
Dave isnt afraid to touch that and point how we this absurd outrage culture creates far more problems and narrowminded onedimensional thinking than it solves.
You rock Dave!
Long meandering story that doesnt deliver
Not sure what this is supposed to be. Its definitely not a horror movie. Its not even that scary, has a few unsettling moments but thats it. Its just weird and doesnt really have any dramatic arc or raising the tension. Basically the whole movie is a few strangers saying WTF? constantly and everyone else telling them " 'ts ok ! guys"
Also besides that, its revolves around a traumatized, annoying and totally without self respect girl that slowly starts benefiting from this weird place. Because of course, we cannot have a film these days without it being a "personal journey" of some sorts. Writers trying to be smart and "deep".
Yeah nothing beats a bizzare and crazy rituals to make you sane.
If youre expecting horror and monsters or supernatural, keep going. Its just a weird film with no real ending, resolution, interesting character or events. Albeit with nice filmography and quite good actors it has no real dramatic structure or captivating story.
Quality acting/production, very subpar writing,Beth almost ruins the show
The show looks great. The actors also, Costner has a knack for playing such tough as leather, hard and brooding character yet is just and good inside. Others actors also do a good job.
The problem is with the writing. Its childish and onedimensional, and incredibly forced, constantly artificially making infantile conflicts.
Like Kayce's wife. Kayce, a great dad who would do anything for her and kid but first she leaves him for absurd reasons (out of his control). On top of that, she constantly torments him and is running him through hoops. Not to mention, she sulks throughout THE WHOLE show. Nothing but complain, is moody and a total Btch...
The same Beth. Nothing but childing sarcasm, insults and being a brat. The most illogical thing her (and EVERYBODY else) tormenting and being hard on Jaime. Who is ironically the most loyal and dedicated of the whole family. He literally went to law school because his dad asked him and protects the family 24/7. While Kayce doesnt want anything to do with the ranch and Beth only comes home if she feels like it. And they insult him all the time. He then makes ONE mistake, which is 100% understandable after a lifetime of bullying and telling him hes worthless, despite he dedicated his whole life to his family, and they want to kill him. Beth the brat especially, who did nothing but run away from home and comes back every few years...
Makes ZERO sense. Who TF writes this nonsense. And in general, every character has issues and conflicts with everybody. Nobody talks to anyone and resolves matter. All they do is scheme and fight. Or stupid things that the writers forget or think the viewers are too stupid to notice. Like when John says goodbye, writers the letter and even says to his family "this is gonna be the end of us" and how hes not coming back. What happens? Nothing. They just put that in for drama, the cheapest possible plot point. Or how they ride in into a compound defended by PROFESSIONAL militia and ex soldiers with vests,nightvision/thermal vision etc... And Rip just rides in on his horse and with a shotgun in the middle of it with John on his side and NOBODY hits them, despite being in the open with light in their eyes and the enemy being professionals with obstacles to protect them. And nevermind that Rip and John and everybody else hit every single enemy target. So so stupid. And so on and on.
This could be a great show, has great actors and premise but sadly has the worst and most childish writers in hollywood who know nothing about writing good stories and realistic conflicts.
Very average and silly at best....
Planning to watch it I was intrigued by the premise, sometimes you just want a simple plot and not overly complicated quasi intelligent story from dumb writers that are the norm nowadays.
However its not a very good scary film. First of all, it doesnt build tension very well and misses opportunities to step it up. I missed longer shots of silent tension with the alligators, tense interactions, more "personal" interaction perhaps with one gator not only banking on quantity and gore. And then towards the end, usually in these kind of movies we have a sort of a "boss". As they indicated with the eggs here, yet never used it.
Then there are the silly things. She is in extreme danger, finds her phone (finally) three steps from the alligator and what does she do? She makes a call. Doesnt put in her pocket and at least goes back to her dad and safety. Nah... Gator an arms lenght away she gonna make a call. Which of course leads to phones destruction in the following mess. Or they finally get a boat, a fast boat by the looks of it, she picks her dad up and at that moment the flood starts coming. They have a clear way out (the flood was coming from the end of the street so all she needs was to speed away up the street). What does she do? Nothing. I counted. To 10. After he dad gets in the boat she keeps messing with him and situating him, talking and goes almost as far as making him an inboat meal instead of getting on the throttle and saving them.
Not to mention brilliant lines like "go, youre faster than them" or how a helicopter saves them in the middle of a severe huricane.
It doesnt matter if the movie is straight to video or a big blockbuster, a good movie,it doesnt even have to be great, will make you immersed in the happening throughout. A bad movie will keep you losing focus and bringing you out of it because of stupidities and inconsistencies of common sense. This one has a few too many of those for me, Im afraid.
Top Gear: Episode #27.2 (2019)
Just stop already...
Youve tried all sort of incarnations, all sort of hosts and formats, yet its just gotten worse. The humor is appalingly bad, there is nor was any chemistry (perhaps a smidgen with Le Blanc) and the whole atmosphere watching the show feels off. Why not invest and produce something original, some car show by an original team that will have their chemistry and vision intact. Top Gear is Clarkson trio. Not these clows. Harris is a fine car journalist but abysmal at humor and its PAINFULLY difficult to watch him fake so much of his behaviour.
Stop. FFS, STOP, it is getting pathetic.
Cobra Kai (2018)
For a spiritual teacher, Danny is extremely petty and adversary
The first season was still kind of fine and because the storyline drew you in , you could gloss over the silly illogical parts. But the second season is ridiculous. The more the other guy tries to redeem himself and be good the more Danny hates him and constantly creates conflicts. The point being CREATES conflict. Isnt he supposed to be some spiritual and forgiving karate sensei? Johnny is 10 times the man Danny will ever be.
And then theres the weird kids. Kobra Kai is supposed to be a fighters gym, where they dont just let anyone in. Lets just says its a bit too in your face SJW tick all the boxes kind of casting and catering for the snowflakes and their handicapped little minds where anyone can be anything even if its obvious they cannot lift their leg for more than 5 inches off the ground.
All in all, the second season isnt as good anymore. Unless you want to watch one guy constantly create fake drama and complain while the other just faces more and more misery.
I Am Mother (2019)
Interesting premise and nice progressing storyline with a bland unconvincing resolution
It was a nice build up to about last third but then it became just a mishmash of poorly thought through ideas and ending a few important questions unanswered.
Dark Phoenix (2019)
They sure have messed this one up
Such great material and such a turd of a product. It could be a very interesting insight a bit more into what phoenix is and how Jean fights it internally. Show its history a bit in flashes as it passes through space.
Yet they made it as shallow as possible. Some quick lazy explanation of it. And Jean, one of the most complex and deep characters in X-men (im just waiting for some binary neutral identifies itself on tuesdays as an octopus complains it should be called X-men X-women X-neutral) has been dumbed down to an angst ridden teenager. Shes like an elephant in musth instead of us feeling and seeing the internal battle and knowing something more about phoenix. Except of course what the insert of some random aliens tells us.
I mean the acting wasnt bad, the script was bad and what they had to work with. Its a shame, ,the actors were underused and the story was lame.
Good impressive monsters but a lame, uninspired bland film
I could barely get through. They start with a premise that had the potential of going somewhere but then immediately let it fall apart. After that the story is just tidbits of this and that, just enough to link the action scenes together. Basically, an average tv ad has more storyline than this. The dramatic moments that are inserted at random times are completely forced and come off cheap and one doesnt feel anything because we've had no chance to connect to the characters. The young actress from Stranger Things, I always tought she had some potential now not sure anymore. She is capable of exactly two expressions. A scared look and confused/unsure look. She comes off wooden as wooden an actor can be.
So all in all, way too much action that devalues it, waters it down because there is no tempo, no feeling to distributing it throughout the movie. As in raising the anticipation. Not to mention its mostly so stupid. Try counting how many times they are saved JUST IN THE NICK OF TIME, like a second before they would perish. Its ridiculous. Or how a character can escape 10 miles away, yet the monsters will always be fighting exactly right next to them or above them. Horrible film. And I love me a good B movie, with a simple silly generic plot and nothing too special. But this is nothing of those. Its just bad with some good CGI.
p.s. No im lying, I did love one thing, the plane. That enormous beast of a plane(/flying fortress more like it) they flew around the world with, coolest thing ever, some S.H.I.E.L.D type stuff. Talking about a dream job piloting sth like that if ever existed.
Can really anyone become a standup comic nowadays?
Whats up with that?
Telling stories is his spiel right? Im guessing as he traveled with the TFATK podcast and Callen encouraged him to warm up the crowd with a story, somehow somewhere that translated into the thought he might structure those stories into an act.
Yeah no.... theres a difference between telling a story to people coming to see the podcast and being pleasantly surprised by an anecdote and those coming to see a standup act and listening to the same thing.
I have nothing against that type of stories humor, comics work in all sorts of ways, Burnham is excellent with his music and acts, Lynch guitar, Lewis or Murphy being crude or Hedberg was a genius with his short, one or two liners.
But Brendan... I dunno. He doesnt have "it". Also people say he "only had 3 years". Lol. First of all, he had more, second of all, these are the SAME stories hes been telling for 3 years and had time to update. And most of all. WTH? Burnham put his special out in three years coming from nothing basically, Murphy was an international star at 19 and got his first special, not to mention many comics come out with ALL NEW material each year. This guy already had the material or most of it, was surroounded by people in the business and had 3 years to work on it. Even if it was supposedly too little time we would see the funny inbetween. A little bit here, a funny line there, a original thing there. Time would only affect delivery and structure, not ability of being funny. So stop with the excuses because they are dumb. And hopefully Rogan wont encourage him more because hes even worse at standup. Its great what he did for Schaub to stop him fighting, Joe knows more than most about it, but the guy is awful at standup. Brendan is a great guy, a kind dude and kudos to him for doing so many things and being successful. Hes brave for trying. He just doesnt have the standup comedy sense.
Cloak & Dagger (2018)
Season 2 ruining the show...
Season 1 was not particularly exciting (to put it mildly) but it AT LEAST had a direction and some good scenes. Also they were supposedly learning their powers and they were learning about the past and themselves.
Now 2nd seasons here. YEAH! Kick As5! Right?
Wrong. Its some psychedelic, dream, different dimensions nonsense that keeps going in circle, and is a total and utter bore to watch. Just when you were expecting them to lvl up and regroup and start being themselves the writers decided there will be more of "finding themselves" and running in a circle. The story has not progressed ONE INCH since the first season. Not. one. inch. Not to mention the acting and scenes all look so unbeliveably cheap and "we've only got 15 minutes" type of deal, its pathethic. I was looking forward to this show. Watched the first season, it had some moments. But then second season came. Better to just end the show. It reminds me of Heroes or Mr. Robot. Its just a bunch of random nonsense now.
Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019)
Anticlimactic resolutions in this Michael Bay-esque ep
I still try liking it but its tough.
The Arya/Sandor farewell... blah... Even though I love their stories and the evolution the writers have made of their first uncomfortable alliance that has become a friendship based on respect even. Too bad we didnt see more of their adventures now that they are getting along, Id watch that. However that final scene, that was some poor acting from Arya. They tried to make it deep and emotional, him opening up trying to convince her. He was good enough but she just looked like a scared rabbit and did a 180 far far too easily. I mean she jumped the NK surrounded by his army but this is where she gets frightened? They shouldve done something else here.
And Dany. WTH.... She has the city. Its hers. She hates Cercei and knows where she is. What does she do?? She starts murdering her own citizens, peasants. Why? I dont know. She is aware, shes been told and has seen a million times that Cersei doesnt care one bit about her people or what happens to them. So what is the point of murdering them (or destroying the kingdom) in front of her? There is none, nothing but another illogical temper tantrum by big blond baby. If she at least tried to capture her. Nah... All she does is kill everyone else that Cersei doesnt care for and destroy everything else that Cersie doesnt care about.
Also Cersei's demise felt so...bland. Not that Im expecting something. Also Im not denying shes an arogant, egocentric monster that was convinced she'd win, but even so, she WOULD HAVE an escape plan. Yet all she did was confusingly run around the keep until Jaime found her. And It was annoying how the underground passages kept breaking in. Thats almost impossible that deep, especially since theyre rooted in a cave system and Dany is burning the surface. And its kinda convinient how those bricks (?) came just to blocking them and not before or after but just at the arc which is always the strongest point. . And Jon.... is useless, he was just....there.
D&D sure are episode by episode ruining it to the end.
Worst drop in writing quality in the history of television?
I think it might be. It is very difficult to imagine how this immense level of incompetence has come to be. It is like completely different crew is dealing with the show, people who had no experience with previous seasons or what has happened. "Forgetting" about the fleet, dragons and their riders in the air who cannot see but a few feet ahead, characters acting like total imbecils, magic ballistas that can pierce a fast flying dragon's neck, never even mind the ground plan of Kingslanding changes according to the needs of the writers. Once there are only mountains and hills on the inland side, at other times enormous open semi-desert space. And like 15-20 stupidities more just in this one episode. Sadly the previous one was almost just as terrible.
What will the next bring?
A big waste of a show that couldve been one of the best in TV history but will be brought down by season 8 like Godfather by the third film. I still give it 2 because i love the genre and I guess would still watch it even if it was just Tyrion and Bronn joking for an hour.
Whole ep of whinning and wailing over some baby nonsense, worst episode of the season if not series.
Is there anyone who could bare to watch this cringe onslaught of annoying crying over that forced overthetop sugary baby adoption nonsense. I can barely think of anything more annoying and cringeworthy that has ever been put on television. All that nonsense intermixed with another predictable generic story development. They really arent trying even anymore. Just checking the boxes of what an episode should include and hitting "generate" on their generic storyboard generator app and it produces this piece of s.
Supergirl: American Dreamer (2019)
Stop with the girl power cr4p, its already a show with a woman as a lead
You have ruined the Flash, it is completely unwatchable today, we should be happy Flash is still even in his own the show anymore .
Now you are ruining this show. Can we stop with the endless feminist approach. Or the over the top forced and forced again diversity quotas. Its destroying any last originality the show still had. Youre more concerened by somehow including a non gender quasi gay black character than a good story. How about you make a man for a change an interesting strong persona who wont in the end somehow disappoint or be bowing down to a woman or of course be gay or black. Does a strong white man even exist anymore who isnt evil?
Also playing American woman in the background as she fights was probabily the most awkward cringeworthy thing ever put on television. If she started dancing polka and singing about sausages would be less embarassing and stup1d. It was horrendously sugary and overboard. Like 5 year old princess birthday party territory.
Stop making this an agenda show, how about rather try for once actually writing a good story with an interesting twist or two and multidimensional characters.
Not just endless and continuous bashing of men and putting women on perennial pedestals. Make it based on the art,on a well crafted story,on comics AND NOT on political or social foundations.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Almost ruined by super annoying Brie Larson
Jar Jar deserves an oscar compared to her. Her presence on screen makes you want to walk out. Not to mention the film is already filled to the brim with unncessary huge number of "strong" female characters to the point its absurd. And not cool, awesome strong female characters like Rene Russo's character, whom you believe is a bada5s and has depth.
So female Jar Jar aside (an insult to Jar Jar actually), the movie, the first half, is pretty darn good, with many great comical moments especially. Second half and especially the last third, it slows down and starts becoming the formulaic and typical hollywood film, full of empty fighting, streched out beyond all sensible constraints. The ending is also not very insipiring or clever.
Also at times it suffers from some quite bad writing. Like when Thor presents Valkyrie with Asgard as if it is this great gift to her. Remember Asgard, a majestic, wonderful city on a half waterfall, half clouds, with a rainbow and beautiful weather every day.
Asgard, that is NOW a small sh1thole of a fishing village, cold and damp 11 months out of the year, with pollution and just an overall miserable life. Who the F would want to be a queen of that ?
Anyway I dont see why it has such a high score, it definitely doesnt deserve it. Its not bad but its nothing special either with too many noticeable distractions that annoy you.
The Rookie (2018)
Nice and fluffy but with a heavy coating of sanctimonious and annoying
I started watching this show and I kind of liked it. But the more you watch, the more you get annoyed by the constant insults and pretentious behaviour and contradictions in the show.
The whole premise basically revolves around how insaaaanely difficult it is to be a cop. Each supervisor treats their trainees like total worthless humans for some reason and dating a cop is the biggest mistake one can make, though never explain why, except being "branded" whatever that is. Most supervisors are constantly on the super high moral ground passing down instructions how either youre 100% focused and all your other life on hold or dont be a cop. But then we meet a supervisor (that they respect lol) who does nothing but eat, write tickets and goes HOME every single day midshift to AIR HIS B4LLS proving the exact opposite of what others are saying. Its not difficult, actually it can be the easiest job on the planet.
Its difficult to watch every single episode a cop preaching down his nose how difficult the job is while the cop next to him goes home to stretch out his balls every day. And it doesnt help that some characters in the show are infuriatingly annoying. I kinda get the white macho cop, hes sort of a stickler for discipline. Or the chief and captain, they need to be tough. But then you have that black chick cop, she is nails on the chalkboard annoying every time she appears. Nothing but holier than thou preachin, nothing but being b1tchy and insulting 24/7 for NO reason. I dont think the id1ot writers understand that characters can ruin a show and also need to be explained and be more than one dimensional. That one is nothing but an endless spewing vulcano of insults and negativism. The show couldve been a nice, not to serious cop show that you watch to relax. But its become 30 minutes of b1tching and moaning for no reason, portraying it like being a cop is being a doctor, a lawyer, a nuclear physicist AND an active combatant in war ,all in one person. Its almost hilarious. And please get rid of the black tomboy woman cop, shes 10x worse than the wife in Breaking Bad and that is saying something.
Jumping the shark for the sake of jumping the shark and nothing else
I loved this show, its original, dares to do things a bit different, its a bit out there. But man...If this writer that seems to be taking the reins is in charge and keeps mistaking his cheap and dumb ideas for some novelty in television, then we are doomed.
If you are not aware of what I am talking about, its the interview the main writer or whatever he is, gave post-airing statement about how killing Quentin. How it is "like a big no no thing to do", so THATS WHY he did it. Because we all felt he was safe so he killed him off.
Not good story, not interesting plot twist, not original ideas or long coming tragic destiny hanging over him for a long time . No. Just an incompetent, unimaginative writer who thought it would be clever.
I mean seriously, can one imagine a more lame jump the shark plot twist that this.
The main gang in the show is the core. Each character brought something unique and they worked great off of each other.
If you lack imagination to weave and create events and stories around them to naturally progress their story and pace and your only choice for keeping it fresh is to be killing them off, then you dont deserve to be a writer.
Quentin was also the sort of the main leading guy, whether anyone admits it or not.
Though not by much, true, especially this season. But to kill him off, youre possibly killing the show.
I have no issues really with removing characters but to so blatantly do it and admit you did it just for the sake of questioning the belief of the audience that "everyone is safe". That is plain dumb. Especially without a good meaningful storyline.
Like I said, I loved this show, was very pleased it got renewed. Now Im not sure anymore, maybe it should just crash and burn, just to teach this "writer" a lesson in writing and using IMAGINATiON. Yeah, im angry... It seems also Im maybe not the only one, this is the worst rated episode of all episodes of all the seasons.
No wonder the main showrunner left....
The Orville (2017)
A Star Trek where adventure, space mysteries and alien encounters come second to relationship drama.
Boy was I happy when Orville was announced. Even really liked the first few episodes. But then it began. The constant repetition. The unending rehashing of relationship dramas and not just generic ones, the same exact one, should we or shouldnt we. Just wait until end of season two and count. But the general relationship episodes, those are even worse.
That is not why we watch Star Trek. We watch it because it expands and plays with out imagination. The whole point of it all is the unknown, the exploring of space and showing us new cultures, aliens, interesting problems and twists. Its an adventure in space.
Orvile isnt that. Orvile is a highschool drama in space. 10% maybe tops of two seasons so far had perhaps some smidgen of Star Trek DNA. The other 90% of Orville is completely devoid of it and is an embarassement to the name and legacy of Star Trek. And I am a big Star Trek fan and willing to forgive a lot to genres and titles I love.
If this gets renewed for season three (which isnt certain yet, their ratings are very poor(surprise surprise) it will be because of Mcfarlanes showbusiness influence and 100% not because of his merits as a writer.
Not ANOTHER relationship story...where is exploring space, new species, mysteries?
Its only second season and we've had more than dozen relationships stories. Not to mention Ed and Kelly were done like 3times already, this is the 4th if not the fifth. And on top of that there were all the other ones the doctor and all her "lovers" from the slob to the robots, never mind the artificial ones, then theres Gordon and the Maklans...
Man, enough of this. Sure Star Trek always had the relationships and explored human relations but not constantly and repeatedly,on and on and on again through this boring romatic relationship drama. Especially one thats been done like 5 times already, the EXACT one. Awful writing.
The true sci-fi adventurous angle of the show has been completely put aside. Sure, one can weakly defend that it is "sci-fi" what has lead to this result in the episode but that is some weak sauce. I miss them going into the unknown, new cultures, unexpected encounters and problems.
The fact is, this Star Trek show has about as much of Star Trek DNA as Celebrity Chef.
High Life (2018)
I used to "enjoy" watching films like this, felt like I was watching films meant for viewers who perhaps demanded a bit more.
They are in 99% dark and depressing. I used to feel like Im doing something special watching them, like im better for it, theyre movies for the more intelligent viewer, an introspection of life, an artistic portrayal of whatever right? Yeah...not really. If I was honest and excluded my ego, it felt more like homework. On it went. Until I just had enough. I watch movies for entertainment. I only tried this one cause I love sci-fi. Boy was I sorry. If you want introspection you meditate, you read a book on a subject or go for a walk into the forest. I find that if a person is honest with oneself, these kind of movies in 99% belong in the trash.
Miss Bala (2019)
Unfair to keep comparing it to the "original" and scoring it with regards to that
I keep reading reviews about some original that was shown in Cannes or whatever. I dont care. I didnt see it, it matters not when watching this to a viewer whos just looking to see a film to relax at the end of the day.
And its not a 5.1 grade film. Its a 6, 6.5. Its nothing special, far from it. But it is an average action flick that you would rent years back at the videostore, watch it with some popcorn in the evening, return next day and forget about it.
Its fun enough to keep you somewhat in suspense, it doesnt have huge plot holes and its not too long or too short.
Its an average, straight to dvd sort of flick, that you watch when you have nothing better to watch, relax and then go to sleep. Its better than Captain Marvel thats for sure. Well whats not.
Captain Marvel (2019)
Horrible bland film with the most miscast actress of any movie ever...
I really hope the 7.2 score is done artificially by bots or whatever hacking magic and is not a testament to how extremly and absolutely bottom poor is the taste of general audiences today.
Cause this film has zero redeming points. The actress is as pleasant as nails on a chalkboard, the story about as entertainig as reading ingredients on your lollypop and the character she plays is confusing and already not that popular yet she makes it even worse. And this is coming from a big fan of this genre, Im honestly willing to forgive a lot.
However this is too much, what a horrible horrible movie, one of the worst I have watched. I prefer the Green Lantern with Reynolds any day of the week over this steaming pile of sh....
Killing Eve (2018)
Goes from a great promising premise to illogical mess
I loved the start, an mi5 agent who develops a sort of obsession and admiration for her opponent and vice versa. A sort of "what I will never be but secretly wish" admiration that most of us have in one form or another.
But halfway through It becomes a total chaos and the story progression absolutely nonsensical. Our main character goes from admiration to absolute love and forgiveness (nevermind the murder of her best friends, attacks on her family etc etc...) to again hate, then love again, and then hate again. The characters emotional progression has about as much logic as flying cats. Its like the writers forgot what they wrote the day prior and then two days later they remembered again. Not to mention the final episode where again she does something completely out of character.
Its a great premise that couldve been potentially one of the best shows currently on and a very interesting insight into their mutual respect and possibly more. But unfortunately it all goes down the drain half through.
Gone from a great show to an utterly annoying agenda driven one
Ive only watched one episode and its ...bad, feels like the story is secondary to writers LGBT agendas. And this show was one of my FAVOURITEs. Original, dark(ish),just the right amount of humor, good dialog and not too much of current societal issues involved. Now... what the heck has happened to the writing team? Agendas should never lead the story but (if its really necessary) enrich it with a intelligent underlying moral/ethical note. Here it feels rather the story revolves around it. (And in general it feels theyre dumbing it down this season for wider audiences with more romantic drama and cliches.)
Also if they must forcefeed us agendas at least make it logical/smart. A little girl with zero talent cannot play basketball with 6+ foot men who have 200lbs on her. Its ridiculous. Men and women will never be the same and that has nothing to do with equality nor is it anything negative, equality doesnt mean sameness/interchangeability. It was already forced with the topboy and then high priest(ess) but to go then on top of that with that Susie nonsense involving identity/gender and feminism all in one, it detracts attention from the story. And who didnt see Sabrina helping Susie which only proved Susie had no business being there if she cant cut it. Hopefully its a one time thing, like when shows allow a different director direct/write an individual ep. Otherwise theyve ruined it.
