Where is comedy?
When Lily Singh said she wants to be a comedian people laughed. Now nobody is laughing anymore.
Seriously. This is horrible comedy. The jokes lack pun and originality. Her presentation is awful. It seems forced, over the top and smug all at once. The woman is no comedian and the person writing her jokes should be fired.
You want to have a "bisexual woman of color" as a host and make some pokes at today's social culture and white people and all that. Do it, but can you get a host that has a talent to be a comedian?
This was the best episode so far and it was actually really good Kurt's story was great. Him dancing to Single Ladies when "auditioning" for the football team was hilarious. And then have the whole team dance to the song was a great scene. Him coming out to his dad was also a great scene especially since his dad said he always knew and thanked him for telling it.
Quinn's pregnancy story is also great. Her lie to Finn of how she got pregnant is so obvious but high school kids aren't very smart when it comes to it so one can see why he believed it. And Terri wanting to get her baby now to cover her lie is also a good story. Although how will it work, her pregnancy was supposed to be 4 months or so longer.
Acafellas story wasn't all that interesting. It did bring some laughs though. And Puck looking for a sugar mom was also funny.
The best story was probably Mercedes having feelings for Chris who is gay. He was so obviously gay but one started wondering because it is true that him being into fashion and such doesn't 100% mean that he is.
The episode is a bit better than the pilot because some story lines start developing but it is still not all that great. I dislike Rachel so much that I am for that cheer leading girl to get the guy even though she is a prude and is supposed to be a bad character.
The story about hysterical pregnancy is pretty good. I really like Sue's character and that she now has spies on the inside promises some future entertainment.
Well this is just a pilot so it may get much better but at this point I am not sure how long I will want to watch it. I already dislike one of the characters, Rachel. And not much has happened for me to start liking any of them. Well that cheerleader coach seems like she may become entertaining. That teacher who took over that Glee club because his wife and future kid matter less to him than some losers he is not related to. Let's see where it will go.
Life Is a Masquerade Party (#2.18)
I keep on looking at Alexis and I just don't see Fallon's face. Even though I know it has to be the same one because it is the same actress but I just don't see it! Still curious how they will go on with this now.
Get Out (2017)
A bit overrated but entertaining.
I don't think the movie is as great as the ratings show. But it is still pretty original and entertaining. I just feel it wasn't developed enough and a lot could have been done better. I think the acting was really good. And it did a great job developing the paranoia in the beginning, it just went downhill when we were supposed to find out what happened.
I don't think the movie is "racist". People whining about it are just as bad as SJWs who see racism everywhere.
Lord of the Ring (#3.13)
The farting moment at yoga class was funny. It is kind of sad though that Raj came. Hopefully Janet will not end up with him in the next season, the yoga guy seems better but I have a bad feeling. The bbq story was funny to some extend but them being so mean to Terrence isn't, it really doesn't make his characters to be good.
Kim's Convenience: Hit 'n' Fun (2019)
Hit 'n' Fun (#3.12)
Janet's story was great. It was pretty fun how Chelsea kissed her and then us finding put that it was planned by her and Gerald! Umma and Appa were again fun. Her confrontation with pastor Nina was really good and I also like how both Appa and pator Nina put that annoying sexist guy in his place.
Kim's Convenience: Appanticitis (2019)
The funnest part of this episode was Appa insulting Umma several times in the talk he made trying to make her happy. So it really looks like Janet is getting closer to dating Raj again. He is engaged by he is a kind of person who wouldn't care about that. She really is making a mistake trying to impress him again.
Elephant in the Room (#3.10)
Janet and Umma's story was pretty good. They both were really funny at it just like Appa. Umma is a hilarious character. Kimchee and Terrance's dating story was also goo. Terrance is such a sweet character, too bad everyone is always against him.
Kim's Convenience: Blabber Talker (2019)
Blabber Talker (#3.9)
Appa and Umma trying to figure out who is telling on them was the best story. I especially loved the ending of it. Appa posting a Facebook status instead of a message is very believable! Hope Janet will not be dating Raj again. He isa really annoying character it is better to have as little of him as possible.
To Him It May Concern (#3.8)
The spelling story was pretty fun. Especially the "disc(o)unt". Pastor Nina's reaction was really good. Kimchee's mother visiting was also a really good idea. Jung pretending that he is moving there for the first time was really fun. But I must say Kimchee's mom reacted way to easy to Kimchee's lies.
Appanoon Delight (#3.7)
This was the funnest episode. Appa and Umma are bad! Having sex in Gerald's bad! They really made me laugh with all the raccoons story. Kimchee's story was also hilarious. Jung running him over and also hurting his arm was really making one laugh!
Kim's Convenience: The Kim Cup (2019)
The Kim Cup (#3.6)
The stories in the episode aren't very memorable but they still have fun moments. I like Umma's character, she really liked to have fun. One is never too old for that! Shannon with the basket was also funny. It was also interesting how Jung and Appa's relationship is a bit tense even from the game.
Kim's Convenience: Army Spoon (2019)
Army Spoon (#3.5)
Janet's story was really funny. I am not sure why what she said was insulting but it made me laughed a lot. Appa's story was also really good. Hilarious how Gerald thought he was so confused and thought that Appa was that old!
Thy Neighbour's Wifi (#3.4)
The wifi story was really fun. Appa was hilarious as always. The church story was alright but somehow it was annoying that Janet felt pressured by other people to speak against the bible. It is true that it is misogynist and wrong but it would have been different if she did it because she wanted to not because of some outsiders. Looks like Sharon will soon go for Jung, we'll see how it will go.
Open Kimunication (#3.3)
Al three stories in this episode were pretty good. Especially funny was Appa and Umma having relationship counselling. Janet and Gerald's relationship story was also fun, especially with the messages that Gerald was having.
Kim's Convenience: Cutie Pie (2019)
Cutie Pie (#3.2)
With this episode the show goes back to how great it was before. The cutie pie story is absolutely hilarious, I loved it all. Janet's story is also good. Reminds me of the time my roommate's girlfriend moved in with him. Only she wasn't paying any rent. Let's see if Gerald's manages to break up with her. Jung's return to work story is also pretty realistic and has it's fun moments.
New Appa-liance (#3.1)
Nice to see everyone again! I liked the episode but the stories were not as great as they usually are. I am sure this will change pretty soon. I really didn't remember what happened to Jung's job. But I guess now it doesn't matter anymore.
This Is Us: Her (2019)
This was a nice season finale. Especially I liked how Beth solved the issues her and Randall have.Him wanting to resign was also very sweet. But I am glad he didn't. This would be a let down to so many people and Beth idea is so much better. This is a big step for her career as well so it was a great solution.
I also liked Kate's conflict with Rebecca. I felt bad for Rebecca since she wasn't doing anything wrong. But one could see why Kate was upset, she felt she needed to be more like a mom. And her understanding that she was unfair to Rebecca was also great.
This Is Us: R & B (2019)
R & B (#3.17)
A great episode where we learn more about Beth and Randall's relationship and the fight they were always having. It was really interesting to see their history and the conflicts that they had. I also got to laugh a little bit in the vows scene. And the great thing is they managed to make it that way that I can understand both. I have trouble to tell who is right. Beth sees that she always sacrificed her dreams for him and Randall feels like she was the head of the family. And it indeed looks like both were right. It will be sad if they divorce. They are a great couple.
Don't Take My Sunshine Away (3.16)
I love following Randall and Beth but I hope they will stay together. In this episode him being worried about the message he left was really well done. I could feel anxiety for him. And I don't think she was right. Her coming to the dinner was the right way to act here She agreed and it was really important. She can go with her coworkers another time. Now let's hope that conversation in the next episode will go well.
Kevin visiting his love and finding out she is engaged was also great. It was also nice to see how they met in school. Jack and Rebecca as supervisors also added to it with their conversation. Especially that talk on what would have happened if they met in school. Their personalities seem to fit that of Kevin and gis first love. Maybe it means that if Rebecca and Jack met so early it wouldn't have worked for them as well.
This Is Us: The Waiting Room (2019)
The Waiting Room (#3.15)
The whole family waiting for Kate was a good episode. So much tension while they all just want to know what is happening with Kate. Miguel being the outsider was a nice part. Especially his little game and how her friend gave him the doll to pass on to her. Now I wonder if that baby will be fine.
This Is Us: The Graduates (2019)
The Graduates (#3.14)
Deja's story was really good. One could really feel for her when her personal essay got published and understood how she doesn't want to be known for her problems. I also felt a bit mad at Randall when he tells Beth she should give up her dancing teacher job. I hope she doesn't do it. And it ended on a pretty nerve wrecking part where Kate is in the hospital because he water broke too soon.
