What is this garbage? its as stale as a month old loaf of bread,.. and about as appetizing. 2 dull, very uninteresting people describe missing people. great idea but the hosts...... well they should practice with you tube first. they stink.
68 Whiskey (2020– )what was ron thinking?
16 January 2020
Despite my disdain for ron howard. being a normal person who can let different views from some one else get in my way of making a sound judgment,.... the first episode was crud. like a really bad mix of 3 kings and something like leonard and hap, but with out believable characters or any type of humor. in fact i didnt know it was a comedy until i saw the label on imdb. with out giving clues away,..... there isnt much of a story. in fact there isnt much of anything. i also want to add, i never served in the military..... but i highly doubt if our troops behave the way they are portrayed here .
Deputy (2020– )solid 4 stars.....
2 January 2020
Just the 1st episode, so it could get better or much worse. the story/plot was kinda weak. nothing felt realistic about the whole episode. and then the "pc" stuff with the illegal aliens and the lesbian (ok besides dorf, she is kinda interesting)... oh and the foster kids (highly doubtful those kids would be placed in "foster care" that quick or with the man who shot thier father). the show just lack depth. characters are not very likeable.. maybe it will improve, but i highly doubt it. Deputy was like wanting a nice t-bone steak and getting a gas station frozen hamburger instead. just my 2 cents, watch it and draw your on conclusion.
Almost Family (2019– )not sure what this pile is
3 October 2019
Not sure what this, comedy, drama, heck i dunno. i can say this it was the equivalent of watching a liter box getting changed. stupid plot, stupid sub-plots, uninteresting characters. i find it hard to believe this waste can of effort was even green lighted. the show should be on tombstone tuesday, as belongs buried... way underground
Yesterday's Girl (2018)good? no, bad? no,... confusing.. yes
1 September 2019
This movie for a low budget one, seemed to utilize what little money they had exceptionally well. as far as spfx, lighting, cinema-photography, and the actors. the story/movie.... well a bigger budget would have really helped for the movie itself. the story... yeah umm, its good but.... i had to struggle and draw my own conclusions several times as to what maybe happening. and i suspect i might be wrong about the writers ideas. like a prism, there seemed one thought going in with multiple tangents of where the heck should this go. i am a huge fan of apocalyptic/zombie/ we are all doomed type of movies, but this... i cant put my finger on it. its better than ok but not much above watching a movie while scrolling thru social media on your phone. sorta like this review. would i watch it again, yes. should you watch it? yes, if you like these type of movies. because if your not into that genre, you will hate it. i couldnt give it less stars because i kinda liked it, i would have given more stars if i was positive about my assumption of the ending.
i hate trump.... look at me!

Lights Out with David Spade (2019– )David Spade... a comedic wolf in sheeps clothing
31 July 2019
Where to begin?.... First and foremost, it was so fantastic to see a true comedian/actor not have any political garbage as the main punch line in every joke. i really think most people are over that, to be honest..... we want to be entertained. why else would we pay so much for cable? Mr. Spade has always been comedic gold. just watching the 1st episode i actually laughed out loud.... not a snicker or a snort or a lol with a hashtag. but i really laughed.. out loud. the best part..... nothing political. laughter is the best medicine and a spoon full of politics wont help. funny shows, comedies are what need, not hate filed finger pointing stuff. the 1st episode was great! looking forward to many more. i personally feel David Spade could fill the shoe of Carson or Leno with time. in a nutshell..... just watch it
The Intruder (I) (2019)old white guy with a red hat and guns
16 July 2019
Brief summery... old white guy sells house to some p.o.c. in his eyes the house is perfect. new owners change house decor, he likes things the way they were. kinda like the media portrays the current establishment. ok enough of that. the movie it self, a few ladder rungs above mediocre. as almost everything he has stared in, Dennis Quaid was the shining star of the movie and to be honest with out him this would have been straight to redbox. i disliked the black male( i was really hoping he would die} almost as much as i began to despise Quaids character ( i am an old white guy with guns, no red hat though). Quaid plays a full blown nut job to a T. but still the movie lacks.... cant put my finger on it... but its missing something. uhmm.... a great movie for back ground noise while you deep clean your carpets. 20 years ago this would have been in the 2.99 discount bin at your local k-mart. just my 2 cents... watch it and you decide
Ripley's Believe It or Not! (2019– )the chin is great. the 1st episiode.... not so much
10 June 2019
I have always loved ripleys, from the old dingy, musty smelling books in elementary school. even the older tv show was ok.... but this.... either Bruce is broke or he owes a gambling debt.. for the first episode... it was like whiskey limp bunch of youtube videos. dang it Bruce.... are you going to blame this on illegal downloads also?
Assimilate (I) (2019)awesome sci fi for a afternoon day
29 May 2019
I dont understand the low rating.. theres one from a person who watched a trailer . how do you rate a movie from a trailer?? anyway, this is an awesome some take on a theme. that yes has been done before. but.... its better. im not going to spoil the movie but... just watch till the end. they left an excellent opening for a sequel... and i hope there is one. its kinda like invasion of the body snatchers with a dash of 28 days later. the actors did a fantastic job representing their characters. the movie itself is well written, well thought out. in my opinion, its scifi with a ladle sized helping of vintage 50s -60s style horror movies ( creature feature with Dr. Paul Bearer) suspense. its really good movie... you dont like it well... turn it off. i personally hope there will be a sequel.
Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear's 'All in the Family' and 'The Jeffersons' (2019 TV Special)despite well known actors..
23 May 2019
This was a a complete hat trick as why some classics shouldn't be touched. you, they,... whoever picked the worst episodes to portray should have their portrait placed on a wall of shame. as some one who grew up in that frame and saw both shows equally funny, it was difficult to muster a snicker. the acting was spot on ,... for community theater. such talented people/actors.... just left it flat. like they had subliminal political message... so whats next? will they ruin happy days? in a nut shell not funny, not worth watching
Boyne Falls (2018)exceptionaly great mid budget movie
10 February 2019
Not your typical big budget, people get lost in the woods and bad things happen movie. nope, not at all. the the main actors were great, the others in the movie were ok for their parts. the movie it self seemed to be well thought out and planned properly. the story with a few flash backs to help stitch loose seams, is really good. something you dont see much anymore..... its original on its own. just watch it, the tine spent is not regrettable (like a lot of movies today).
The Sisters Brothers (2018)its ok but.....
21 December 2018
3 of my favorite actors, who played their roles very well but the whole movie was lacking something. i cant put my finger on it... like a taco tuesday with no fixuns, just meat and a tortilla. that kind of empty is how i felt. the entire story line was very boring. the characters were not very like able. actually the whole movie stank like an old chicken dinner forgotten about in the fridge. i cant recall a single moment of this movie that was worthwhile of viewing again. such a waste of talent
The Happytime Murders (2018)this aint sesame street
3 December 2018
Just watched happy time murders. if you have a juvenile heart and a sophomoric sense of humor (if you think beavis and butthead/fart jokes are funny) there will be times when you will laugh out loud. if you are a spinster/curmudgeon.... well your sense of humor was lost at birth and your time would be better spent knitting socks for your 10 cats.
Bad Company (II) (2018)7 stars..... becuase ...
2 December 2018
To start with im not familiar with the cast. never heard of Booboo.the only reason i looked this up on imdb was because i thought nicholas cage's sons were in it. i can honestly say that the actors i thought might be related to him out performed Mr. Cage in anything he has done past 1999. the movie.....its not bad, its not good.... something in between. ummm its worth a watch if your out of options on a sunday afternoon. 7 stars??? ... hmmm yeah well... the story is different than most crap today. its a low budget movie.... what else can i say?
The Conners (2018– )wel... well... it aint your mommas roseanne
17 October 2018
Jeez, where to start? there isnt a point a or a point b. just an empty void of a great tv show, that abc killed off. the original show op[en up with "filmed in front of a live audience". the conners only canned laughter... to jokes that honestly that lacked any humor. reminded me of a lousy snl skit. ok, we all knew the kid was gay, did you really need to have him come out? what purpose was that for? the show is horrible and wont last the season. unless they rewrite it, reshoot it, and resurrect roseanne from the dead
I Think We're Alone Now (2018)good to a lil above ok, well worth a saturday afternoon watch
15 October 2018
Its not the road, its not the survivalist, its not the omega man... its good on its it own though yet different than most.its slow to develop, well its slow.. but... interesting to keep you watching. theres a twist at near end, that could easily become a second movie. i dont want to give spoilers, but if you like this type of genre, well just watch it, its not that bad... it could have been better. maybe the next will touch greatness.all of the actors did a fantastic job, the cinematography was excellent, the story could have been written slightly better, but like i said its worth a watch
Manifest (2018– )an average guys point view
25 September 2018
Well... where to start... it,... the show is an excellent idea.very mysterious.... sorta outer limits/night gallery type vibe.... then the very weak scratching your head story lines slowly emerge.... a show with this much anticipated juice, should have and quite easily could have punched you square in the nose. it didnt.... it told a story instead. instead of a sucker punch you get a gentle kiss on the cheek. it could have been so much more dynamically. you are left with a cheap hamburger when a beautiful steak dinner could have been had with the same ingredients. will i watch again? yes.. 2 maybe 3 more episodes..... it just reminds me of a cheap crappy movie on the usa network around 1988
Venus (III) (2017)uhhhmmm.. yeah ok
6 September 2018
