Not as good as the eagle has landed, but still worthy
25 January 2020
These are two very similar movies for Donald Sutherland where he plays a spy. Both have good plots, suspense, great leading ladies, and are very watchable.

This one lacks the war action that Eagle has, so it's not going to appeal to some, and frankly how he gets his pictures is unrealistic to the point that I had to keep rolling my eyes.

One review comments that Lucy's character is unrealistic for the time period which is totally garbage. I'm assuming they're talking about her sexual activity and the fact is women have been sexually active since Adam and Eve.

Well worthy to watch any evening or afternoon.

Worth it solely because of Yvonne Craig
25 January 2020
Ms. Craig was a good actress that probably is best remembered as Batgirl. It's fortunate that she was in ST as well and as a green chick. Many don't like the ep which surprises me because it's fairly typical, has Scotty, et al on the ship doing stuff with Kirk and Spock on the planet and interesting crew of guest actors.

Is it the best ep of the series, not by a long shot, but it is far from the worst.

HORRIBLE!!!
23 January 2020
I was a Navy corpsman so I feel a kinship to my Army breathen, and frankly this is one of the worst shows I've ever seen. I was so surprised that it's a Ron Howard production as he's made so many good shows. While I don't expect all shows to be accurate, although I prefer it, this show is completely ridiculous. It completely disgraces everyone who served in the service and Howard should be utterly ashamed. For the record I made it thru two ep's but won't be watching anymore.

Factually wrong in so many ways, but still good
13 January 2020
First off, I checked whether the goof about the real Daniel Boone owning slaves was correct and it is. So again here's an episode that is factually wrong, but that's nothing new for this series. (Interestingly enough, Davey Crocket also owned slaves as so many errors in this series are because it was really meant to be about Crocket except Disney wouldn't license it.)

The other thing that is so wrong is Vic Tayback playing a Native American. But it was the 60s so to be expected.

Even with all that, this episode is good, has some really good laughs and filled with morals. Worth watching.

The dogs are AWESOME, the rest not so much
12 January 2020
First I'm jealous at how beautiful Halle Berry is and that she got to work with those two dogs. They are absolutely awesome. This sequel isn't as good as the two prior films. It has much less of a storyline and is pretty much just action from start to finish. So if you like to see fights, guns, killing dogs, loving dogs, and some ok acting then it is very worth it, but I think the first movie was the best, the second was second best, and this one is a lagging third but worth it to bring the series to a conclusion until they make a 4th I guess.

Horrible
9 January 2020
I got to see this via Mystery Science Theater 3k and that's the only reason I made it thru the whole thing even though MST3K was horrible as well. One can only take so many Forest Tucker is fat jokes. Forest Tucker is a very good actor so I was very disappointed, but I gather this was one of his earlier works. It simply is horrible to watch.

If you ignore the glaring she could never do that, not a bad show
9 January 2020
Many reviews have already commented about how unrealistic/untrue it is that the FBI would allow an untrained individual participate as she does, and they are 100% correct. The FBI regularly uses local and state LEOs, but they are trained. They also use consultants, but never like what this girl does for so many reasons. The shame of it is, they could so easily overcome that by having had some back story where she became a LEO and then left or essentially anything but just being a self-defense instructor. This doesn't make the show unwatchable, but it reglarly slaps you in the face with the error and you just have to ignore it. I'll also add that the alcohol drinking on an FBI plane would simply never happen either as the FBI has very strict rules for its agents with alcohol use and there are significant govt regs regarding alcohol in the workplace which without almost any exception is not allowed. The negative comments regarding the lady actor aren't accurate in my opinion. She's not bad and she's nice to look at. Probably the one thing that would make the show much better is if Chris Noth had more screen time as he's such a powerful actor. Finally, it's really not a bad show.

pretty good ep
1 January 2020
The first time I watched this ep I was disappointed. Upon rewatching it months later I changed my opinion. It had a good bit of humor, but also had a more emotional side that the series only had about 25% of the time. It also perhaps will give some families a view that may help them.

Truly pulls at one's heart
1 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I resisted putting a spoiler in the title, but if you have lost a child as I have, this will be a truly emotional episode. The story was well written and performed, and it absolutely made my heart hurt.

That's Incredible
31 December 2019
I kept expecting John Davidson to say That's Incredible (those younger may not know the reference unless you look at Davidson's titles. Pretty standard fare for DB. Interesting that Boone was accused of land shenanigans in real life making this one of the few ep's that had a real touch of reality.

never had a principal like that
30 December 2019
Let's just say that this principal slept around and it included a student. When I was a student, it'd been nice to have a principal like that. Otherwise a pretty ordinary story that because I was bored I watched this and I would rather have spent the 90 minutes with a teacher.

one of the few mav's without a lot of humor but exceptional
27 December 2019
This ep had no humor to speak of, but was truly serious subject. What makes many mav's great is the tongue and cheek humor so this diverged greatly. Even with that the acting in the ep was exceptional and the writing was fantastic. If you love mav as much as me, and my Dad did, you should watch this because it is one of the few without humor so that you can get the breadth of james garner and mav.

Groundhog Christmas Carol
21 December 2019
I've seen every iteration of the Christmas Carol including many plays. Unfortunately i'm not as taken by this one as the other reviewers. I think the problem is that this is from a story and variations are ok, but in my opinion this one just goes to astray. My review title is a hint, but this story simply doesn't hold true to the traditional story and tries to mix in other stories. Having said that, it is a good watch at the holidays regardless, just don't expect it to live up to its title.

Warning: Spoilers
Ok, we got it, guns kill people. the chances that the entire 5-0 team would be connected over a period of 46 years to a gun, the very same gun, is statistically impossible. If you can get past the political baloney, then it's a pretty good ep.

ok, hope they give more info about Dan
13 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I posted on an earlier ep about Dan and was a bit surprised the other players kept him. Survivor probably wishes they had listened to me. What's really odd is what could have happened. Whether we'll be told I'd bet that we won't, but just what could ahve happened to have them pull him. There was no special reward where he could have interacted with someone else unless it was from the prior ep when his son was there. That seems quite possible.

An excellent ep
9 December 2019
This was a truly exceptional ep, but not just as part of the series but in general. It had suspense, drama, great acting, but I will say the twist at the end I saw right away. Truly adds to the series.

Would be better without fake NO accent
9 December 2019
It fits in the genre of Jag, NCIS, NCIS LA, and other Bellsario shows. It suffers from the same deficits that the other NCIS do with respect to the realities of NCIS and federal law enforcement. Surprisingly Jag had far fewer errors than any of the ncis shows. Even with all of that the thing that truly makes the show painful is the horrible Scott Bakula New Orleans accent. I spent enough time in NO and my former boss was from NO, and says his accent is simply horrible. It'd be far better if he just talked normal and he still could be from NO as the show says.

Yep lots of negative can be said, but still an awesome western
4 December 2019
There are lots of westerns, and John Wayne certainly was one of the best. In this you get Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson, Angie Dickinson who is very attractive, Claude Atkins, and more. It's interesting to read all the negative stuff, but I really enjoy this pic. I particularly like old movies with people who later became big stars like Ms. Dickinson. Add the singing by two great performers truly makes it worth while.

typical ep, but omg Jamie can't sing
25 November 2019
Not sure if Lindsay Wagner sang because of Lynda Carter in Wonder Woman, but the sad fact is that Carter can sing while Wagner is certainly pretty as well, but can't sing. It actually is very similar to a WW ep when WW entered a beauty pageant as well. Oh the days when such things were acceptable and popular.

I didn't even bother reading other reviews-thought provoking
23 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Without a doubt this ep is generated from politics, but it's not over the top although the premise seems to be ridiculous because I don't think it's scientifically possible yet. I'm pro-life and this ep in a way supports that. Consider how much the lady loves her daughter that she indicates that she otherwise would have gotten rid of. Without a doubt this is a tough thought provoking ep, but it's one that I can relate to. Doctors had wanted my mother to abort me because there was a concern I would have a disability (this was many years ago). She obviously chose to give me life. I'm not a woman, so I can only try to imagine the impact other than what I shared above. As it goes, not a completely over the top show.

Dan's behavior completely unacceptable
14 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Let me just say that Dan's actions were unacceptable, and I think it should have been handled differently. I'm glad the producers did address it, and without being privy to the conversation don't know if he is simply ignorant or if he really is a problem. (I believe his apology was genuine, but don't know if it was because he was caught or genuine remorse; just no way to tell thru the tv.) Perhaps he is on the wrong show and should have gone on Naked and Afraid instead. I'm glad the women spoke up and wish they would have slugged him frankly and say keep your hands to yourself. My last comment is that the fact they didn't vote him off though means that it might not have been 100% as it is so difficult because of their editing and not knowing all that happens.

Get over it, or change the voting again
7 November 2019
So much is being made about how Sean Spicer continues on in the competition, but that was the same complaint for the past two seasons. If the show is going to have voting from fans, then it needs to be accepted that it's fan voting and it may impact who continues. The complaints that are politically leaning are uncalled for, because if it wasn't Sean it could be another celebrity. For the record though, Sean is a terrible dancer that obviously gives it his full effort, but he simply isn't as talented as most of the remaining couples. If DWTS decides they don't like this outcome, then they should change the voting again. How they would do that would be difficult. How many times are the judges boo'ed for their votes? So going solely to a judge vote would not resolve the situation. But maybe it's the Russians or Ukraine or a bunch of people in their basement that are causing the vote issue.

Wanted to enjoy it, and well didn't
23 October 2019
I really want to enjoy the show as I've recently become a big Impractical Jokers fan, but after 3 episodes I don't feel like it delivers.

There's not enough laughs, it can be tough to figure out exactly how the game works and want people are doing, and just feels flat.

Are there laughs- yes, but I just don't feel like it delivers like IJ does. Maybe ep 4 will be better.

My marriage was fraught with obstacles and my wife and I's relationship reminded me so much of what Worf and Dax went through. This was a fun episode showing the complexity of their relationship and Sisko taking charge.
