Two multi-part questions come to mind: 1- who commissions this crap? is there a pay to play scheme at work? 2- why is david tennant, britain's most active boring actor cast in so many boring shows?; and is there a pay to play scheme at work?
20 minutes in.... shots of country fair, fire, failed rescue, 10 minutes of hospital equipment beeping away, a really, really, annoying soundtrack, trite dialogue.....money misspent.... and ready? the plot is given away in the 1st half hour. the director is amazing at dragging a scene out; whether it is coins in a vending machine or hospital equipment. this stuff went out in the early 60's, so grow up and tell a shorter story if you don't have the budget for a long, long series or make a film.....
britain has talent; little shows here. avoid at all costs. spend your time reading or writing
