Mya-Lecia Naylor, 16-Year-Old Cloud Atlas Star, Dies Suddenly After Collapsing
We've got some very sad news to pass along today, as British child star Mya-Lecia Naylor has passed away. The actress reportedly died after collapsing earlier this month, although the cause of death has not yet been determined. Although the majority of Naylor's acting roles were in British movies and TV series, she appeared in the 2012 movie Cloud Atlas along with Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, which was released in the United States. The news was confirmed by the BBC's children's network, Cbbc, in a statement referring to Naylor as a "much-loved part of the BBC Children's family and a hugely talented actress, singer and dancer." With a bright future still ahead of her, Naylor was only 16 years old.

British Actor Mya-Lecia Naylor, Star Of ‘Cloud Atlas’ & Cbbc’s ‘Millie Inbetween’, Dies Aged 16
British actor Mya-Lecia Naylor, who starred in Cloud Atlas as well as BBC kids’ series Millie Inbetween, has died suddenly at the age of 16.

She died on April 7 after collapsing, according to her agency A&J Management.

Naylor starred as Fran in two seasons of Cbbc’s Millie Inbetween about two sisters whose parents have split up, and Mya in Almost Never about a boyband and a rival girlband. In addition to these roles, she starred in Cloud Atlas alongside Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, and had filmed a role in the first episode of Netflix’s forthcoming fantasy series The Witcher.

Her agency said in a statement, “It is with the deepest sorrow we have to announce that on Sunday 7th April Mya-Lecia Naylor, very sadly, died. Mya-Lecia was hugely talented and a big part of A&J, we will miss her greatly. Our love and thoughts are with all her

Mya-Lecia Naylor, an English child actress best known for playing Fran on the Cbbc sitcom “Millie Inbetween,” died April 7 of undisclosed causes, the network said Wednesday. She was 16.

“We are so sorry to have to tell you that Mya-Lecia, who you will know from ‘Millie Inbetween’ and ‘Almost Never’ has, very sadly, died,” said Cbbc in a statement. “Mya-Lecia was a much loved part of the BBC Children’s family, and a hugely talented actress, singer and dancer. We will miss her enormously and we are sure that you will want to join us in sending all our love to her family and friends.”

According to BBC, Naylor’s agents, A&J Management, said she died after collapsing. A&J did not immediately respond to a request from TheWrap for comment.
