  • No explicit nudity or explicit sexual content. There are shots throughout of men wearing historical underwear out in the open, but this was the style during the summers and isn't intended to be fan service.
  • There is a scene where a young woman is having sex with 3 men for money

Violence & Gore

  • There is a lot of blood violence and body dismemberment

Sex & Nudity

  • A supporting character looks after orphaned children, whilst working at night. Later, it is revealed that this night job is prostitution.
  • The strongest and only sex scene so far is at the end of episode 5, where a child witnesses a young prostitute having sex with three samurai in the woods at night. They're all fully clothed but two of the men are holding her arms down while the third gives her oral sex, his head blocking the act so no genitalia can be seen.
  • Episode 5 and 6 have references to sex. One of the girls is a prostitute that's working to help orphaned children. There's one scene where the girl is about to have sex.
  • The most nudity shown in the series so far comes from episode 16. Dororo, revealed to be a girl in an earlier episode, is stripped naked by her father's former allies to expose a map on her back. She lies on all fours with her head down, embarrassed, completely nude and buttocks exposed. This goes on for a few moments.
  • A scene shows a woman being raped by two men. While it is not completely clear, the visuals and sounds used demonstrate rape. The woman explains that it is her job, implying prostitution. A young child watches as this occurs.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Episode 9 is very depressing. It's an entire flashback where Dororo recalls how her father was murdered and her mother starved herself to death to keep her alive.
  • Appearance of a numerous demons and monsters which could be found disturbing & Skinless baby at the beginning of the series with nearly no organs
