Marvel Casts U.S. Agent For The Falcon And The Winter Soldier

If you’ve been keeping up with news pertaining to Marvel Studios as of late, then you’re aware of how the brand is expanding beyond the silver screen and onto the Disney+ streaming service. At the forefront of this movement is that of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which no doubt has True Believers everywhere intrigued.

To me, at least, the major appeal comes by way of seeing Sam Wilson now wielding the shield after accepting the Captain America mantle from Steve Rogers near the conclusion to Avengers: Endgame. Hey, the concept of legacy heroes hasn’t been explored all that often in the live action realm and I, for one, really want to see where this goes.

In addition to spending more time with Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, we’ll see Captain America’s corner of the Marvel Universe fleshed out in ways the movies may

‘Ms. Marvel,’ ‘Moon Knight’ and ‘She-Hulk’ Shows Set at Disney+

  • The Wrap
The McU is expanding on Disney+ with three more series, “Ms. Marvel,” “Moon Knight” and “She-Hulk,” set for the upcoming streaming service.

Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige made the announcements Friday at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, during the Disney+ showcase.

In the comics, Ms. Marvel is the name used by two different superheroes — first by Carol Danvers, now known as Captain Marvel, and then Kamala Khan, a teenager with the power to enlarge or shrink any part of herself she wants, who adopts the name in tribute to Danvers. The “Ms. Marvel” series will feature Kamela Khan, who is notable as the first Muslim character in Marvel’s 80-year history to headline her own comic. Feige said the character would also appear in future films.

McU Goes After Game of Thrones Star Kit Harington, Which Marvel Character Will He Play?
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is reportedly in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It isn't clear which project he will be taking part in, but a deal is allegedly close to being signed. We last saw Harington's Jon Snow as he walked north of The Wall into the forest with the Free Folk Wildlings after he killed Daenerys Targaryen, which Game of Thrones fans were not exactly too enthusiastic about. In fact, a lot of fans were downright angry with the way the mega-successful show came to an end.

Kit Harington has met with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige and is reportedly looking into joining a superhero movie. This has not been officially confirmed as of this writing, but we could see an official confirmation come this weekend since the D23 Expo is currently underway in Anaheim, California. If he's in negotiations right now, there are a

First Trailer For The McU’s Phase 4 Leaks Online From D23

Even though there are no more McU movies coming out this year, the last few days have proved to be an emotional rollercoaster of sorts for Marvel fans. Leading up to the biennial D23 Expo (which has often been the source for big announcements focused on Disney’s superhero films), we caught wind of news that the House of Mouse and Sony Pictures failed to make a deal regarding the financing and production of future Spider-Man movies, effectively booting the friendly neighborhood webslinger from the McU.

While fans are still doing everything they can to bring Peter Parker back into the fold, there’s some good news to look forward to. Today alone, a ton of new footage for a variety of upcoming films and projects (including The Rise of Skywalker and Black Widow) has leaked, and we just caught wind that a trailer for Phase 4 of the McU has made its way online.

The show becomes the latest Marvel Studios project for Disney+, and will join the previously announced The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki and Hawkeye, as well as the animated What If…? series.
