Emily Palmerston: Other women.
[Victoria and Albert have arrived in Ireland, and have been surprised by the welcome and the lack of protest, despite fears that the Irish hated her. They are driving through the streets]
Albert: Have you been in the public houses, Palmerston, securing local enthusiasm?
Lord Palmerston: [pretending to be outraged] Sir, that's an extraordinary suggestion. Do you *seriously* envisage me in a public house?
Irish Bystander: [shouting at the carriage as it goes past] This is *our* land! Not yours! This is *our* land!
Lord Palmerston: [grinning] Clearly one I missed.
