Trivia

The scene on the beach where Maddy meets the "40 year old guy in Panama City Beach" is a thinly veiled nod to Stanley Kubrick's 1962 film "Lolita" - when the film's protagonist meets Lolita in the film, she's out back sunbathing with the same sunglasses Maddy has on. See more »

I just love how the story gives in-depth background details about each character - just completely hooked. Zendaya is nothing as I expected and she consistently gives a great performance and also the supporting characters are brilliant. Glad HBO renewed the season- I thought I would be left waiting a while for another great show to start after Chernobyl was finished.
