Will and Grace live together in an apartment in New York City. He's a gay lawyer, she's a straight interior designer. Their best friends are Jack, a gleeful but proud gay man, and Karen, a charismatic, filthy rich, amoral socialite.
The series was conceived after the 2018 revival of Roseanne was canceled due to the firing of Roseanne Barr. In conclusion, her character was written off the franchise. However, the rest of the cast returned, hence the name. See more »
I grew up watching Roseanne and always enjoyed the show except towards the end. I really enjoyed the new episodes and was sad to see it get canceled. I didn't agree with the firing of Roseanne but my review doesn't have any influence of that. There are moments where the comedy/drama work. Darlene and Jackie delivered very good scenes, but sadly the moments that didn't work for me involved Dan. The dynamic and chemistry between Roseanne and Dan were what made those two characters work. There was a sweetness and bond you felt whenever they interacted. The only one I feel that meshes well with Dan currently on this show is Jackie. I'll give this show two more episodes but unless things change drastically I don't think this show will last.
