Stametts says Tilly is harboring a eukaryotic organism, which is taken to mean a fungus. This is not what "eukaryotic" means -- eukaryotic organisms includes all fungi, plants, and animals, and presumably many of the extraterrestrial species on Star Trek. See more »

Quotes

Amanda Grayson: Spock speaks highly of you, Captain Pike. Now my daughter does, too, so I know I've come to the right people.
Captain Christopher Pike: Well, ma'am, that makes it all the harder for me to tell you. I can't open this file. If I did, I'd be in violation of the rules, and my mother wouldn't like that.
Michael Burnham: There is precedent in Starfleet case law for a captain to invoke...
Captain Christopher Pike: [to Amanda] Was she this bossy as a kid?
Amanda Grayson: On Vulcan, we call it "persistent", and yes, she was. She learned that from me.

-I'm a die-hard trekker since i was a teenager, but i must say ,this series has some major issues, for example they changed the look of the aliens, but they should know you can't compete with somthing which survived to so many generations of fans, this is something very arrogant in a certain way, because their changes are not making things better than the ones from Enterprise, for example,Star Trek is like a old castle you try to preserve it,and keep the new things in the same tone with the old ones, if you want to be something with a certain value, you don't try to transform it in a ..discoteque.I hope they would show the older versions of the aliens too,in season 3,because this is the right things to do.The Aliens from the show ,and the multiple spore jumps are inspirated without no doubt by GOTG movies indeed, because M.Yeoh was a part of that series too,but this is a mistake, nobody wants to see Star Trek being transformed in a Marvel efemere series, exceptiny the (young non fans) members of the production staff. The fans can understand a visual remake, like the ones from Enterprise ,but what they did with DSC is a profanity,so please make the things right again, because is not too late, and the fans will repay you for that,i assure you.I hope somebody from the production has some time to spear to read this reviews, for the sake of this series.
