Trivia

Despite many scenes that showed the characters drinking (a lot!) of wine, Rachel Dratch said in an interview with Thrillist, they only actually drank real wine in one scene. "It was a pretty short scene so no one got tipsy," Dratch says. "We just got to take short sips of really good wine. That was a nice bonus." See more »

Goofs

The characters say multiple times that Rebecca's birthday is on a Sunday; however, while they are in the ER they are able to call Naomi's doctor's office to ask about her test results. It is unlikely that a GP's office would be open on a Sunday. See more »

Quotes

Naomi: Do ya know what? I wish Prince's ghost would come back and serenade me for like two whole hours and then make sweet, sweet love to me.
Jenny: Yeah. no shit. Fuckin' glided into that elevator in Paisley Park and that fuckin' door closed...
Naomi: ...and then poof. Where's my baby? Where's my Prince?
Jenny: Beautiful ass, Prince.
Naomi: I love my husband and shit, but like that's the love of my life.
Jenny: He had eyes like a beautiful newborn fawn. What was his pain?
Naomi: His hips.

Don't get the hate.
17 May 2019 | by jlindquist-44796See all my reviews

I mean it's not the greatest film of all time but it's really not that bad. It doesn't deserve the hate it's getting on here. The cast is very strong. The jokes are decent, albeit a tad bit predictable. It's worth the time to watch it.
