Good, With a Bit of Shark Jumping

Claire goes into hiding, making now public appearances or announcements for weeks. The power structure from the Veep on down are enraged, as are the Shepherds. Since virtually every politician and business person is deeply corrupt or hiding something, her actions hardly seem that bizarre. Doug finds out that Frank had done something really significant for him, and he goes to his shrink to find out what. I appreciate that the psychotic Doug pulls his punches (after one decisive one) and goes back to formulating his plan. Claire's ducks continue to fall in line because her knowledge of the weaknesses of her opponents are being carefully played, like a masterful chess strategy. The only thing i found a bit too much is the scene in the Cabinet chambers.
