Should have been a tv show

I left less than midway through because the movie was bad. The movie started and seemed good but then it never really established itself. This happened because the movie had way to many subplots and never really got a central story.

a whole falsehood
alvarezyanelis5 September 2019
This is a movie that does not tell the truth of the wasp network, it is a film insulting the memory of those Cubans who lost their lives at sea because of the wasp network they are guilty of the death of brothers to the rescue, they made a movie based on lies and manipulations, this is an insult to the people, a Cuban woman says it and that I had to unite Cuba for the rebuke, hunger and need that we have been in for more than 60 years

Why make this movie?
pradop6 September 2019
How does Hollywood come up with the idea to make a movie about spies that worked for a communist country and they helped kill other people that were against Cuba or trying to flee the Cuban regime. Do they know the story well? Or just another film from the left/ignorant Hollywood. The amount of ignorance by these artists is insurmountable or they just don't care. This is shameful, artists I used to admire just made the bottom of my list. Penelope, you know what Cuba is about. What the hell are you doing!

A shame for Cuba
hugoraul-9822024 September 2019
The movie is a shame for the Cuban people. The story that tells, about a real event, does not stick to the truth, becomes a prop for the Castro family that oppresses a whole town to stay in power and colonize countries like Venezuela and Nicaragua. It is sad that these actors have lent themselves to such perverse interests. It should be banned in the USA because this movie only tries to keep a facist dictatorship in power.

Shameful and bad film making at its best
gasmovie12 September 2019
This film lacked research on historical facts. Actors do not reflect real life characters. Skewed events and misleading characters in the film may confuse viewers on what really happened in history. This is not a good thing for young viewers to watch and think that this is reflecting what really occurred. Horrible that this relates to a sad event in history and the film insults Cuban Americans. And to top it off, the film is visually tacky and poorly made. Don't waste your money on this made for TV film (not even a B movie). Even the trailer is poorly made.

Shame on the whole crew
marianus1-994-84153013 September 2019
This is the most subversive piece of Castro communist propaganda ever. All distributors, cast and crew should responsibly assume their position as supporters of five murderous communist Cuban spies whose hands are full of blood of their own people. Shame on the so called Venice art festival, and shame on all individuals involved in this heinous apology of the five murderous spies that Castro used as political propaganda long after they had been caught, when he ran out of ammo once the Elian Gonzalez issue had been resolved in his favor.

Fake movie
ISCAMIX278 October 2019
It is a lack of respect that this movie is shown as a true story, when in reality it is a great false. There are not five heroes but five murderous spies who ruthlessly planned the murder of brothers to the rescue. How can you have so little shame to create a film full of lies and hiding the reality of the Cuban people that is none other than the oppression of a dictatorship, repression for thinking differently, misery, hunger, prostitution to feed him to a son because of the Castro tyrants, but what gives me more shame is that Latinos interpret the characters without thinking about the pain of the people of Cuba, but above all the family who lost those brave men who their The only sin was to help the rafters not to starve at sea. That's what Hollywood actors, directors, producers, etc. defend, what a shame you give me.
