  • The characters are all relatively likable so when they start getting murdered it is often shocking and brutal.
  • Being that the friends are going through a haunted house, there are many jump scares.

  • Mallory is stabbed in the head with a fireplace poker.
  • Angela is impaled in the head with a pitchfork, we see her eyes cross as it pierces her.
  • Evan is jabbed in the neck with a hammer and then has the hammer placed in his mouth and pulled upwards, tearing his face apart.
  • Devil Mask is stabbed in the eye and then has half his head blasted off by a shotgun.
  • Bailey is mistakenly stabbed in the chest with a pitchfork.
  • Sam has a bolt shot into his neck, a concrete block dropped on his hand, and is then bashed in the face with a sledgehammer.
  • Vampire Mask is shot in the head.
  • Witch mask is beaten in the face with a steel door.
  • Zombie Mask is beaten with a baseball bat.
  • Clown Mask is shot in the face, offscreen.
  • Harper steps on a wooden block that has nails on it. The nails go into her foot.
