With Lorena's help, Chance and D return to San Francisco to handle unfinished business. Frank Lambert has a new protégé. Chance embraces a familiar role in a new way.
This final episode of the second season is a bit lacking. The problem is that all the things that Chance had hoped for are wrapped up so quickly. Nicole's situation is taken care of but none of the necessary transitions are presented. Mostly, penance is at the heart of things and that penance is undeserved. I know there are some absolutes in moral teaching, but the bad guys are the worst of the worst. I wonder if a fourth season is even a possibility.
