It's time for the annual station break, as the Nostalgia Critic sits back to view more wacky, hilarious, strange, bizarre, creepy and even somewhat dark commercials from days of yore. So many memories and weird vibes are revisited, like Tony the Tiger making you an athlete, the Burger King Kids Club being inclusive, kids going to outrageous lengths to steal their parents' waffles, Batgirl attempting to shatter the glass ceiling, and, while he finds a Canadian PSA that's innocent, he finds a British one that literally quite shocking.
Did You Know?
The Critic cannot quite understand what The Green Goblin says to Spider-Man in the video game commercial and makes several guesses. One of his guesses ("You're running out of flu weed!") was actually fairly close. The Goblin actually says, "You're running out of fluid!" (As in web shooter fluid.) See more
The Critic claims the Batgirl PSA was made in the '60s, but at the ad's end, the date clearly says 1973. He also claims that the actor playing Batman in the PSA is Adam West
, but this is, in fact, another actor, as West refused to play Batman again. (He would ultimately embrace the part in later years.) See more
[in one commercial, the Green Goblin confronts Spider-Man

[Spider-Man is seen playing a Spider-Man video game for the Atari
Oh, no! He's forcing Spider-Man to play his own Atari game!
[he looks around, bewildered
Actually, that *is* kind of evil.
