Captive State is not the best movie you'll see all year, but it's far from anything bad. It's a unique, intense, highly original (for Hollywood, anyways), and somewhat thought provoking thriller that takes its sweet time getting to something we saw coming. It's a cool, frustrating, decent mess that I actually tolerated and liked.
