Quotes

Elena 'Yo-Yo' Rodriguez: I was hoping you'd pay me a visit.
Alphonso 'Mack' Mackenzie: Unfortunately, it's not that type of visit.
Elena 'Yo-Yo' Rodriguez: This have something to do with the power being out?
Alphonso 'Mack' Mackenzie: Yeah. Radcliffe built a humanoid robot that's about to attack the base.
Elena 'Yo-Yo' Rodriguez: Why would he do that? Has he watched no American movies from the 80's? Robots always attack.
Alphonso 'Mack' Mackenzie: I've been saying that all day.
Elena 'Yo-Yo' Rodriguez: Smart people are stupid.

Re-watch thoughts

There is no way to describe how brilliant this episode is without spoiling it, I think it's safe to say that it takes the idea of robots turning evil and runs with it, they let things escalate fast and not drag it, they makes the jokes you expect and discuss the moral issues you think they would...but with a twist, because this is AoS and there are twists within twists! There is also the story of Senator Nadeer, which I found to be strangely compelling, there is nothing scarier than someone so convinced of their warped view of the world they wouldn't relent even when it comes to family. Though the episode does leave a thread that has yet to be resolved 2 seasons later, that's kinda annoying, but there is still time to pick it back up.
