Storyline

Let Her Out follows Helen, a bike courier who suffers a traumatic accident. As she recovers, she begins to experience strange episodic-black outs, hallucinations, and night terrors-that lead her to discover that she has a tumor, a benign growth that is the remnants of a "vanishing twin" absorbed in utero. Over time, the tumor manifests itself as the dark and demented version of a stranger. As Helen's emotional and psychological state begins to deteriorate further and further, she begins to act out in psychotic episodes that are influenced by her evil twin - making her a danger to herself and her best friend, Molly. nice surprise, i liked it
12 September 2017 | by trashgangSee all my reviews

Took me a while before I watched this one because just see the low ratings. really, I loved it and I even found it one of the better horrors of 2016. I agree, it isn't going to be for everyone.

Therefor you really must dig a bit of arty camera-work and editing but if you can pass that you are into a flick that gives you more horror then you expected. You can watch it as a straight horror or you can watch it like it's all about schizophrenia. If you do so there's more to catch. The problem is that I can't say too much about the story but it did work for me. And yes, some scene's are a rip- off of those Asian flicks like the black hair coming out of the mouth but towards the end the gore comes in.

Let Her Out, the title does says it all, was a nice surprise and it really cut into my flesh. Recommend it to all geeks.

Gore 1,5/5 Nudity 1,5/5 Effects 4/5 Story 3/5 Comedy 0/5
