Did You Know?

In the novels:

Arya has never shot even one single arrow.

The contents of the letter Sansa wrote to Robb are referred to, but not actually read, and Arya has no idea about it.

Jorah Mormont still has no idea about his father's death, and it was was never avenged.

Benjen Stark's fate is still unknown, as is the identity of Coldhands.

Gendry is still with the Brotherhood, who never sold him to Melisandre. See more »

While Jon's squad is battling the wights on the frozen lake, next to Beric, you can clearly see a man swinging his weapon at nothing. The animators obviously forgot to add a CGI wight as his opponent. See more »

Beric Dondarrion: Are you alright?
Thoros of Myr: I just got bit by a dead bear.
Beric Dondarrion: Aye. You did.
Thoros of Myr: Funny old life...

Great episode
21 August 2017 | by jonhorridge-18172See all my reviews

Great episode. This review posted to counter some of the more stupidly-nit-picking reviews. No indication was given how long they were on that rock. So all these timeline complaints are nonsense. Night King has a logical reason for going for a flying dragon, if he hits it, he still has time to go for a second, since a landed dragon is slower. It's logical to go for a landed dragon last in this situation. They got the chains from the giants, and from Hardhome. Try watching the show if you want background.
