Four characters are united on an arduous inner journey of self-discovery, striving to implement the Jewish concept of tikkun olam in a perilous world of drug-trafficking, gang violence, addiction, mental anguish and personal struggle. A story about deconstructing the imperialist and colonial heritage of the modern age, as well as overcoming OCD, Hyperthymesia and psychological turmoil.
Principal photography commenced in late 2011, wrapping up one year later, with additional scenes shot until late 2013. Post-production went on hiatus and could only be completed two years later. See more »
