Great flick
20 October 2019 | by pelbachaSee all my reviews

After reading a few of the reviews I was actually turned off watching it, until a friend recommended it. The film really surpassed my expectations and more. I can see why people would give it a bad review as they must look inyo the mirror and see something they dont like. The film is right up in your face and doesn't let you go. It deals with racism, religion, love and family. I am born in western Sydney and depicts it so real. It emotionally had me on the edge throughout and the acting was real good by the entire cast who are mostly unknowns. Are they Oscar performances? NO. Performances believable? Very. The directing and cinematography is great. I strongly recommend it, but you need to watch it without thinking this is a Hollywood blockbuster and know it's not a 40 million dollar production but a very human story. Love it and recommend it highly
