Did You Know?

Quincannon had no legal right to try and take the church away from Jesse. Verbal agreements are not binding if there is no witness, and even if there is a witness they usually are not legally binding. Since Jesse did not sign any legal documents Quincannon had no legal claim over the church or the property, and therefore in the eyes of the law would be guilty of trespassing, assault with a deadly weapon and even attempted murder. Jesse however would be in the clear, as he was just acting in self defense and should not of been arrested. And even if Quincannon was the legal owner of that land, the way he tried to take it from Jesse would of gotten him arrested as well. If someone needs to be forcibly evicted you don't do it yourself, you have to have the police do it, you can't just walk in and shoot them, that would be murder. See more »

Clive: [completely calm] Preacher shot my dick off. See?
[shows it to the other men, some are vomiting]
Clive: An incredible shot. Just took it clean off. It's alright. It doesn't hurt that much at all, you know? Not really.

Completely Wrong
20 July 2016 | by laughingbirdproSee all my reviews

Director Kate Dennis doesn't get Preacher. Please don't let her direct another. It may be based on a comic book, but that doesn't mean you throw away all suspension of disbelief and empathy for the characters. This HORRIBLY DIRECTED EPISODE includes multiple off camera fights which defy logic or sense, offensively uncharacteristic behavior from the "protagonists" and horribly stilted, sit-com level acting. It puts a bad taste in your mouth for continued viewing, and I read the comics and love the story. I hope they learn from this foul entry in the series and course correct. Where is the story I read? Why not use it as your basis? NONE OF THIS IS IN THE GRAPHIC NOVELS. Get back to the roots.
