This premiered at the opening night of the Rhode Island Film Festival this past August. Hopefully it will be published in more public domain, because it's a very good piece. The entire thing is a rapid thought progression of a woman at a red light that explores just what the phenomenon of tangents can do. It's incredible how much anxiety the woman has just because she wonders if she left the coffee on. Even more incredible is how natural the progression feels. I know how easy it is to go from thinking about something as small as one word and within a matter of seconds be thinking about something totally unrelated and drastic. To top this off, we get treated to a pretty cool animation sequence that transitions from one thought to the next simply by morphing itself. All this is complimented by a creepy whisper that adds even more to the anxious atmosphere.
