This was thought provoking. A candid look at the experiences of a family who are reeling from the shock of losing a loved one to extremism. Its an unusual perspective on such an emotive subject. Previous generations lost their young people to drugs, these days radicalisation is yet another curse from which we have to protect our most vulnerable. People make choices and they must bare the consequences but how equipped is our government to deal with this. With the fall of ISIS, I wonder what we can learn from families like this as our society is dealing with the consequences of returning jihadists and their children.
