First filler?
22 April 2017 | by ericstevensonSee all my reviews

Well, I guess it's hard for me to really enjoy filler that much, seeing as how it isn't really appropriate for this show. I guess seeing as how this isn't based on a manga it doesn't really count as it. Wait, the Pokémon anime had a lot of episodes people consider filler, so it can apply here. This episode features aliens coming to Earth to congratulate and challenge Mr. Satan for claiming that he defeated Beerus. Wait, is Mr. Satan's first name Hercule? Was that just a name change because they didn't like the idea of a character named Satan?

Anyway, I really enjoyed seeing his daydream's representation of Beerus. He's represented as more monstrous and it suits his imagination. He was pretty lucky Goku showed up, even though it didn't really help him. At least a dog showed up, which was also very convenient. Okay, this episode was goofy, but I think it was a nice little distraction from the more serious story. What kind of planet is named Snack? I mean, they have nothing to do with snacks. ***1/2
