Trivia

The calculation to determine how much will be obscured by the curvature of the Earth is Eight inches per mile squared, with the result in inches. So armed with a camera with a good zoom (Such as the Nikon Coolpix P900 or P1000) one can perform experiments and see much more of a landmark a known distance away than one is supposed to be able to see, and also one can disprove the idea that a ship goes over the horizon as it sails away from you. Flat Earth Bae
5 March 2019 | by alexisgoodatscienceSee all my reviews

I was walking home on a dark and stormy night, when a man ambushed me from behind the trees and gave me a Laserdisk copy of this film. When I got home I put it in my Laserdisk machine and pressed play. My mind was blown. All this time I've been lied to by mainstream media, or Whopperville as I like to call them. The Earth is flat! It makes so much sense now! Thanks movie!
