General Lane wears the 4 star insignia of a General, but also wears the emblem of the Black Horse Division. A division is generally commanded by 2-star, Major-General, so Lane should either be of a lower grade or should not wear a divisional Command patch. See more »

Astra: [after revelation] Your mother never stopped believing in me. You are so much like her, Kara.
Supergirl: [sniffles] It's not too late, Astra. Please tell me where Henshaw is.
Astra: The only way to save him is to make the trade.

Astra: The humans will never agree to that.
Supergirl: [rises, sighs] Then it's a good thing I'm not human.

Degrading US Army General
16 December 2017 | by MajorBaleeghSee all my reviews

This is a strange to see that at one place a three-star US Army General is commanding the entire scenario of war in Afghanistan and on the other in this episode a four-star General is commanding a couple of soldiers and trying to rescue a director of a specialized government agency. Either the four-star generals are out of work in US or they are too many to be employed anywhere and that's why they are utilized at the jobs of Captains or Majors. In our country a four-star general command the entire army of a country and in the US the four-stars are just commanding a couple of soldiers and are going on rescue mission, give me a break. This is the real degrading of senior most rank of military infrastructure by employing the highest rank of army on the jobs related to either a sergeant or may be a Captain not even a major. At least put some reality in your shows to make it looks closer to real.
