In this episode, Chloe posits that the bats might be attracted to technology. As an example, she mentions the incident in Antarctica, during which bats blocked the sunlight from solar panels powering a research station. At this point in the show, however, not only had she not been told of that incident, but nobody in her team (at least on camera) had been informed of it either. See more »

Blame it on Leo
11 June 2018 | by Prismark10See all my reviews

Blame it on Leo and half the team split up with Chloe Abraham and Mitch in Rio figuring out why the city is swarming with bats. Mitch thinks that bats are drawn to radio waves of some kind such as telephone or mobile phone lines but they then fall foul of the Rio street gangs.

Jackson and Jamie team up reluctantly with FBI Agent Schaffer to find Reiden Global chemist, Leo Butler whose name is written throughout Evan Hartley's bible. Leo seemingly left some kind of DNA graffiti in the bacteria found in the wolf blood samples.

A nervous Leo is scared of Reiden goons and he reveals information of the Mother Cell. A molecule that is in all Reiden products which affects people and animals negatively.

So Reiden products are bad. In Boston we see a small ill girl who loves her dog but he then gets injured. The parents get him fixed at the vets but the medicine is from Reiden.

The episode moved well, they act as a team, the dialogue is clunky with plenty of pseudo scientific babble. No animal attacks in this episode but this is as good as Zoo may get.
