Did You Know?

On their drive to the motel Sullivan Hill and Eve Thorogood talk about the Bruce Springsteen album "Nebraska" (1982). Hill says how much he liked it as a kid and Eve tells him that her father, who had just been murdered, felt the same way. A few scenes later Eve bids farewell to her family at the memorial site, set up at the scene of the crime, by singing an a capella version of Springsteen's "I'm on Fire". The song is not included on "Nebraska" though, but on its 1984 follow-up "Born in the U.S.A.". See more »

Roland Thorogood: So, uh, what's your line of work, sir?
Mick Taylor: Me? Oh, I shoot pests. You know, feral animals, ah, pigs, donkeys, camels, tourists.

Probably fine for non-Australians

Ham fisted. The daughter is on drugs, the Dad is trying to mend his family.... blergh. And the Aussie Mick Dundee-type that shows up, well, he kinda just feels like an actor reciting lines.
