The best episode of the series
22 May 2016 | by XxxDaniel94See all my reviews

Season 2 so far has been a little slow, while it has still been great, there has been little happening. However after the release of this episode, I have a feeling the season is about to take off. This episode was brilliant.

The emotion that this episode give is heartbreaking. It is directed, written and acted beautifully. The performance given by Caitriona Balfe is worthy of the Golden Globe award, hell it is Oscar worthy. She gives one of the best performances I have seen in a TV show.

This episode is not jammed packed with action, but is instead an episode of loss, pain and suffering. There are many scenes that are played out very well, and by the end of the episode you will struggle to hold back that lump in your throat.

Other than the fantastic acting and writing, this episode features a beautiful soundtrack, done incredibly by Bear McCreary

Best episode of the series and one of the best episodes or a TV show this year, even rivalling an episode of Game of Thrones.
