Storyline

Castle goes to an alternate universe where he and Beckett had never met. In this bizarre reality, Beckett was captain of the 12th Precinct and Castle hadn't had much recent success in writing. In fact, Castle's mother was more famous than the novelist. Written by Hotaru Marote

You're kidding, right?

The series has followed the inevitable arc of most series. It really should have ended after season 5, but it continues to be milked. This episode was a terrible and completely unbelievable remake of a Jimmy Stewart movie plot (that should be sufficiently vague). The acting is okay, but a rating of 8.0? What IMDb ratings are consistently demonstrating is the flaw of their rating system., Ratings of all shows and movies now result from overly passionate and biased fans or fans that judge the cinema/episode on whether or not they agree with it,or are simply paid lackeys of the networks/studios. The result is a mockery of the ratings because the ratings in no way constitute a representative and knowledgeable survey sample. I no longer rely on any of these ratings and it won't be long before most intelligent viewers will also ignore them.
