Steven Universe: The Movie isn’t what you might have been expecting but it’s exactly what you need. Much like the series that came before it, Steven Universe: The Movie has one major goal in mind and that’s its characters emotional journeys. Season 5 may have seemed to end the major plotline of Steven Universe but there was still more to say about the characters themselves, Steven in particular.

The movie acts as a sort of a coda to Steven’s emotional journey. The end of season five gave Steven that crucial moment of learning to love himself but this movie lets us see beyond that. What happens in the happily ever after? Where do you go from there?

Hasbro to Produce 'Ghostbusters' Toys Starting in 2020

Hasbro ain’t afraid of no ghosts. The toy company behind Transformers, Monopoly, My Little Pony and Power Rangers has been named the master toy licensee worldwide for Sony’s Ghostbusters, with the first products being released in 2020.

The new partnership between Sony and Hasbro, which comes ahead of Sony’s new Ghostbusters 2020 movie due next summer, is a return of sorts for the property and toy company; Kenner, which Hasbro acquired in 1991 as part of its purchase of parent company Tonka, held the license for The Real Ghostbusters animated series from 1986 through 1991.

In February, Hasbro previewed the new deal when it ...

Wgtc’s Michigan Comic Convention 2019 Recap And Gallery

Having covered a variety of events throughout southeast and mid-Michigan, I must say that each have their own distinct flavor. In fact, that’s one reason why I don’t get tired of the better shows in the area. And now that Michigan Comic Convention (formerly Michigan Comic Con) has returned for a second go-round, I hope to make this an annual summer tradition of mine.

Much like last year, it all went down in the Cobo Center in Downtown Detroit, only there was much more to take in on the showroom floor. As I’d hoped, the number of vendors had seemingly doubled, thereby causing me to spend more cash than I’ll confess in this article. It was also cool to see Disney/Marvel Studios set up a table handing out free posters and other goodies, which, as you may have figured, were scooped up by lucky attendees in short order.

Sisi Stringer lands breakthrough role in New Line’s ‘Mortal Kombat’

Sisi Stringer.

After graduating from Queensland University of Technology as a Bachelor in Fine Arts last year, Sisi Stringer has landed a key supporting role in New Line’s Mortal Kombat reboot.

Stringer will play Mileena, an unstable, dual sai-wielding assassin in the superhero movie directed by Aussie Simon McQuoid and produced by James Wan and Todd Garner.

That’s quite a coup for the Brisbane-based actor/singer who has just two screen credits: an episode of the ABC/Hoodlum Entertainment’s Harrow and a small role in Alister Grierson/Eclectik Vision’s comedic thriller Bloody Hell.

Stringer is repped by Cbm Management’s Clinton Bryan-Mathieson, who signed her when she came to Sydney for a Qut showcase.

Shooting starts at the Adelaide Studios and locations on September 26, with investment from the South Australian Government.

Angela Heesom is casting the film based on the iconic video game, which spawned the

Everyone’s favorite parody talk show that was a staple of Cartoon Network throughout the '90s and 2000s, Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

Ok K.O.! creator Ian Jones-Quartey revealed that they had been working on a team up between Ok K.O.! and Space Ghost Coast to Coast for quite some time.
