The Night of the Hunter

Moving Pictures: The Night of the Hunter (1995)

This episode of Moving Pictures takes a look at the making of Charles Laughton's THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER and features interviews with both Robert Mitchum and Shelley Winters as well as that film's producer Paul Gregory and an archival interview with Lillian Gish. At just fifteen-minutes there's obviously nothing ground-breaking here but this episode is rather priceless now since it does feature the main two stars of the picture and both of them tell some nice stories about the production of the picture. This is especially true as Mitchum talks about his role as well as what it was like working with Laughton. Fans of the film will certainly want to check this out.
