John Wick 4 Is Coming in Summer 2021

John Wick 4 Is Coming in Summer 2021
Keanu Reeves will be back as the legendary assassin John Wick for at least one more round of ultra-violent, pulse-pounding action. Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have confirmed that John Wick 4 is indeed in the works. What's more, they've already locked down a release date for the sequel, and it's coming a little bit sooner than some may think, as the studio has planted a flag for May 2021.

The news was confirmed by the studio via a text message that was sent to those who had signed up for updates regarding John Wick 3: Parabellum. The text message not only confirmed that a fourth installment is happening, but revealed a May 21, 2021 release date. That means Lionsgate is sticking to their strategy of treating this as more of a summer blockbuster action franchise. The previous two installments were released in October 2014 and February 2017, respectively. At the present time, no further details have been revealed,

Michelle Rodriguez Joins ‘Fast & Furious 9’ After Getting Series to Hire First Female Writer

Michelle Rodriguez Joins ‘Fast & Furious 9’ After Getting Series to Hire First Female Writer
The long-running “Fast and Furious” franchise has never lacked powerful female characters onscreen, from Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty to Gal Gadot’s Gisele, but it has struggled to be as representative behind the camera. No woman has ever directed a “Fast and Furious” movie, nor has a female screenwriter ever worked on a “Fast and Furious” script. Fortunately that’s about to change, and it’s all thanks to Michelle Rodriguez.

According to Bloomberg, Rodriguez has officially signed on to reprise her role of Leticia “Letty” Ortiz in “Fast & Furious 9.” The deal was made after Rodriguez secured an agreement to have a female screenwriter join the production. The actress made headlines in June 2017 for an Instagram post in which she threatened to leave the franchise unless producers showed “some love to the women of the franchise on the next one.”

“I felt like there was not enough of

John Wick 4 Already Being Planned Teases Director

John Wick 4 Already Being Planned Teases Director
It seems as though John Wick 4 may already be in the works. Keanu Reeves has been kicking major ass and racking up a seriously impressive number of headshots as the titular assassin ever since the first movie was released in 2014. With John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum hitting theaters this weekend, many fans have been wondering if this will be the final, proper entry in the franchise. Not so fast, as director Chad Stahelski has strongly suggested that a fourth entry is coming our way.

Chad Stahelski has been making the rounds promoting John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. Recently, he was participating in an Ama and was asked if a fourth movie was in the cards. He initially said, "Up to you guys," since that would heavily depend on box office success. However, later on, he was asked about which movie was most challenging from a stunt perspective. Here's what Stahelski had to say.

Charlize Theron Says Being Asked To Play Wonder Woman’s Mom Was A Slap In The Face

She may have already played a super cool secret agent in Atomic Blonde, but Charlize Theron could’ve suited up as another woman warrior as well if things had gone differently. As you surely know by now, she was originally offered a part in DC’s phenomenally-successful Wonder Woman but unfortunately, had to turn it down.

At the time, we were told it was due to scheduling conflicts, but now it seems there was another reason. While speaking in a recent interview, the actress explained that being offered the role – which was that of Diana’s mom – felt like a slap in the face to her.

“This is a great example of how Hollywood like slaps you in the face when you start aging. And I was like, ‘I’m not familiar with it. What does Wonder Woman really do?’ And this person said, ‘No, it’s for Wonder Woman’s mom.

‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’ Review: Dir. Chad Stahelski (2019)

John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum review: Everyone’s favourite pencil-wielding assassin returns for the third chapter of the John Wick franchise. This time John finds himself hunted by everyone after being excommunicated for breaking Continental rules.

Lionsgate UK

Five years ago directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, and actor Keanu Reeves, introduced the world to retired assassin, John Wick. The film was a massive sleeper-hit, and after generating mass appreciation, began a new action thriller franchise. Leitch may have left to direct the likes of Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2, but Stahelski has stayed, directing both John Wick Chapter 2 and the latest film, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Picking-up mere moments after the cliffhanger of the second chapter, John Wick 3 sees Wick excommunicated from all criminal underground resources for his actions against the High Table, with a $14 million bounty on his head. Desperate, and with nowhere else to turn, he calls

Is Charlize Theron Getting Her Own Fast & Furious Spin-Off?

Is Charlize Theron Getting Her Own Fast & Furious Spin-Off?
A new Fast and Furious spin-off starring Charlize Theron is reportedly in the works at Universal. The actress played Cipher, a cyberterrorist, in 2017's Fate of the Furious and there have been rumblings of a female-led spin-off for quite some time. Series star and producer Vin Diesel has talked about the female project for a while now, but there hasn't been a lot of talk about it from the studio. With that being said, the studio is more than likely waiting to see how well Fast and Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw does this summer.

It isn't clear at this time if the Fast & Furious Female Spin-Off is the same one that is being talked about for Charlize Theron, but it would make sense to have her villain back to face off with the female stars of the franchise. The female-led spin-off is currently being developed by writers Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet.

‘Impossible Mission’ Review

Stars: Jimena Gala, Ben Vinnicombe, James Giblin, Karina Matas Piper, Maarten Swaan, Gilles Gambino, Alika Del Sol, Mat Cruz | Written and Directed by Gilles Gambino

You have to respect the likes of High Octane Pictures and Wild Eye Releasing, the amount of truly independent genre films they put out in the Us is astounding. Of course many filmmakers can go down the self-releasing route and debut their films on streaming services etc. but there’s nothing like getting a physical release – and that’s where High Octane and co. come in, seemingly picking up titles no one else will and there’s some real gems hidden in their output, as long as you can look past the low budgets!

But when you’re dealing with so many independent films and so many low budget films there’s bound to be some stinkers; and unfortunately Impossible Mission is one such movie.

James McAvoy is rare among this new young breed of actors, as he has the ability to shift between offering heartbreaking sensitivity (“Atonement”) to displaying some serious action chops (“Atomic Blonde” and “Wanted”). Hobbs and Shaw Trailer #2 Delivers the Biggest, Craziest Fast and Furious Movie Yet

Universal has released a brand new Hobbs & Shaw trailer. There has been talk of the studio possibly doing a Fast & Furious spin-off for some time now, most likely centered on Dwayne Johnson's character Luke Hobbs, who was introduced in Fast Five. That has finally materialized, and he's bringing Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw along for the ride. the end result is probably going to be crazier than any of us possibly imagined. Idris Elba is essentially turned into an actual supervillain and there is more action than we can possibly process, as teased in this latest trailer.

Some of this footage was initially shown to audiences in attendance at CinemaCon and the reaction was quite positive. That said, it's also been made pretty clear that this is very much going to be as over the top and ridiculous as one might expect it to be. So don't go in expecting an Oscar-worthy,

Extreme Second Trailer for 'Fast & Furious' Spin-Off 'Hobbs & Shaw'

"The music's already started... let's see if we can get in sync." Universal has debuted an epic second official trailer for Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, the badass new Fast & Furious "spin-off" movie focusing on the characters named in the title - Luke Hobbs (played by Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (played by Jason Statham). Made by the director of John Wick (co-director), Atomic Blonde, and Deadpool 2, the first trailer for this was already quite good, but this new preview is even better with tons of action and comedy galore. This movie looks crazy! In this sequel, lawman Hobbs and outcast Shaw form an unlikely alliance when a cyber-genetically enhanced villain threatens the future of humanity. The full cast also includes Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, Eddie Marsan, Joe Anoa'i, and Helen Mirren. This looks totally bonkers!! That final showdown with the Maori looks nuts and hilariously awesome.

‘Hellboy’ Review

Stars: David Harbour, Sasha Lane, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Mark Stanley, Brian Gleeson, Penelope Mitchell, Mario de la Rosa, Atanas Srebrev, Dawn Sherrer | Written by Andrew Cosby | Directed by Neil Marshall

Hellboy, formerly known as Hellboy: The Blood Queen, is directed by Game of Thrones alumni and Dog Soldiers director Neil Marshall. It stands as a complete reboot of the franchise after Guillermo del Toro’s cult classic duology that failed to light the box office with disappointing returns. Gone is Ron Perlman as the titular character and replacing the iconic actor is Stranger Things star David Harbour, so at least it has that going for it, right?

This reboot of Hellboy is lifeless and soulless. The acting, from newcomer to the franchise, Sasha Lane is dreadful; meanwhile star David Harbour fails to bring any form of charisma or charm for a character that should be the epitome of sarcasm.
