A truly exceptional and inspiring film
3 October 2013 | by kathleencarter28See all my reviews

The Dirties started out to be a pretty funny movie, however, it ended with quite a surprising twist. I found the movie to be very moving and think that it should be shown to all high schoolers to help to put an end to bullying. The movie really shows the extremities of bullying. Though Matthew and Owen didn't really ever show much emotion over being bullied, after observing Matthew's actions, it is quite obvious that he had been greatly affected by bullying. He played a great role- I found him to be hilarious and insane. Despite some of his completely inhumane actions, I think he really did genuinely care about (his only friend) Owen.
