Trivia

Near the end of the episode Myka remarks that only her romantic comedy would turn into a Stephen King movie. The scene in the log cabin earlier is reminiscent of the Stephen King movie Misery (1990) in which an author's 'number 1 fan' kidnaps him after a car crash and further hobbles him to stop him running away by breaking his ankle with a sledgehammer.
