  • Dramatic comedy centered on a group of women who rebel against domestic violence. The film tells the story of psychologist Eylem (Bilgin), who moves into an apartment in the Istanbul neighborhood of Kurtulus after being abandoned by her fiancé two weeks before the wedding. Her new neighbors try to lift the mood transforming themselves into different women who stand up against violence of all kinds.

When Eylem (Belcim Bilgin) begins her new job, the women that come to see her have a number of issues. Vartanus (Demet Akbag) acts as a virtual slave to her sickly father, Gulnur (Ayten Soykok) is abused by her husband, while Goncagul (Nihal Yalcin) is kept as a mistress by a man with no intention of ever marrying her. In short, the women are in subjection to men. Will Eylem be able to help the women realize their own power?
