In a medieval English town ruled by a corrupt sorcerer named Margolin, two teenage orphans named Ned and Sara live under the tyrant's household. Seeking to escape his tyrannical rule gain freedom, they set out to dethrone the sorcerer and rid him of his magic. Along the way, they seek the help from Margolin's apprentice Gresilda.

wrote "The Most Evil Sorcerer" on a bet with another author to create a story in a different time and world. He suffered writer's block near the end before finding himself writing the ending (not featured here) feeling a lack of control while doing so, and claimed that the sorcerer had possessed him.
