Marvel One-Shots Are Coming Back, Will They Team Ant-Man and Spider-Man?
While Tom Holland continues his press tour for Spider-Man: Homecoming, the actor has revealed that the Marvel One-Shot short films is being resurrected. This comes just a few days after the young actor confirmed an Iron Man 2 fan theory, that the young boy with the Iron Man mask who stands up to a powerful drone, is in fact a much younger version of his Peter Parker character. Now it seems the actor has spilled the beans on another Marvel project in the waiting, after revealing he wants to make a short film with Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.

These revelations come during a new Uproxx interview with Tom Holland for Spider-Man: Homecoming, where the actor was asked if he would like another McU character to swing by, like Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark, in the already-confirmed Spider-Man: Homecoming 2. The actor revealed the he would love for Paul Rudd to come by as Ant-Man,

'Thor 2' Deleted Scene Shows Loki Wielding Mjolnir

'Thor 2' Deleted Scene Shows Loki Wielding Mjolnir
If Avengers: Age of Ultron helped to prove anything, it's that no one can wield Mjolnir. Except maybe Captain America, who may have been faking it. Thor's legendary hammer was laid out like a party trick, and the rest of his comrades were offered the chance to pick it up. They all failed, though Steve Rogers was able to nudge it ever so slightly. And Vision easily handed it back to Thor, but he's an android and doesn't count. A new deleted scene from Thor: The Dark World teases that Loki might have the power to swing this mighty weapon. Maybe.

The Thor 2 deleted scene arrives as part of the 13-Disc Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Two Collection, which is in stores just in time for the holiday gift giving season. But as we learn from watching this scene, it is all an illusion. We get to watch Locki's coronation,

More Marvel One-Shots Will Happen When It's Time

More Marvel One-Shots Will Happen When It's Time
Over the past few years, Marvel fans were treated to bonus short films known as Marvel One-Shot's, which were included on most of the studio's Blu-ray and DVD releases. Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King was the last one the studio put out, attached to the Blu-ray and DVD release of Thor: The Dark World last year, and some fans are wondering if we've seen the last of these short films. While promoting Marvel's latest release, Ant-Man, in theaters July 17, Kevin Feige revealed to Collider that even he is disappointed there haven't been any new Marvel One-Shots, and that they have a number of different ideas for future shorts, but he doesn't known when they will actually happen.

I'm disappointed too! Frankly, and I think it would be great to see more one-shots. We'll see... You look at me as if I'm the only person who controls that decision; I wish that were the case.

Robert Downey Jr. Confirms 'Iron Man 4' Is Happening!

Robert Downey Jr. Confirms 'Iron Man 4' Is Happening!
Robert Downey Jr. made it official on the Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show today. Yes, Iron Man 4 is happening!

The actor says that negotiations are still ongoing for his return in what will be his 7th featured role in a Marvel movie, and his 9th appearance as Tony Stark altogether. So he's careful not to confirm he is returning outright. When Ellen DeGeneres asks the question if there will be an Iron Man 4, Robert Downey Jr. responds:

"I know there's going to be a bunch more Marvel movies. And they have big ideas of how to do it best and we're in the middle of negotiation..."

After Ellen DeGeneres prompts him for a true answer, the actor finally gives in and says what everyone has wanted to hear:

"Okay, yes!"

He also had this to say about the movie on his recent Reddit Ama, addressing the idea that Mel Gibson

No 'Marvel One-Shot' Included with the 'Captain America 2' Blu-ray

No 'Marvel One-Shot' Included with the 'Captain America 2' Blu-ray
Earlier today, it was announced that Captain America: The Winter Soldier would be hitting Blu-ray and DVD on September 9, and it was believed to include a new Marvel One-Shot. But Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that's not the case. There will be no new Marvel One-Shot created for this upcoming release.

Marvel hasn't confirmed that it is ending its run of Marvel One-Shot short films, which so far include 2011's Marvel One-Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer and Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant, 2012's Marvel One-Shot: Item 47, 2013's Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter and 2014's Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King. If a new short is made, fans won't see it until the Guardians of the Galaxy home video release this winter.

This news comes as a surprise, since the shorts are incredibly popular, and have even inspired two TV series, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Marvel's Agent Carter.

Marvel Previews 'Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King'

Marvel Previews 'Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King'
One of the numerous special features attached to the Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD release of Thor: The Dark World, is the latest Marvel short film, Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King. Last night, I headed down to the Arclight Hollywood for a screening of this short, which features Ben Kingsley reprising his Iron Man 3 role as Trevor Slattery, the British actor who tricked the world into thinking he was a dangerous terrorist known as The Mandarin. These shorts have become big hits with the fans, but All Hail the King is by far the biggest one yet, that you surely won't want to miss.

The 15-minute short opens with Jackson Norris (Scoot McNairy) a documentary filmmaker who arrives at Seagate Prison for his final interview with Trevor Slattery, as he tries to figure out who, exactly, this mysterious man really is. However, before the interview itself, we see

'Agents of Shield': Which Marvel movies to watch before the premiere

  • Pop2it
"Marvel's Agents of Shield" is only a day away from its premiere. The pilot is set up in a way that the uninitiated viewer can easily walk into the show without any background knowledge of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and have a very enjoyable experience. But to have a truly informed viewing of the new ABC drama's first episode, it's advised to at least watch a few of Marvel's movies to have a basic understanding of what Shield is as an organization.

Shield, or the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division, is an espionage and law-enforcement agency used to maintain the superhuman threats in the Marvel universe. Its most recognizable figures are Clark Gregg's Agent Phil Coulson and Samuel L. Jackson's Agent Nick Fury, as well as Cobie Smulders' Maria Hill, Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff, Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton and Maximiliano Hernandez's Jasper Sitwell.

Max Hernandez Will Return as Jasper Sitwell in Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Maximiliano Hern&#225ndez has announced that he will be returning as Agent Jasper Sitwell in Anthony and Joe Russo's Marvel Phase II sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

He shared the news with all of his followers on Twitter yesterday, although these tweets were later deleted. Here is what he said.

"So it's a much bigger role in a much darker Cap Story. Lots of twists and turns. And lots secrets about the McU revealed!"

"I can't say much more or the Marvel cops will revoke my Shield clearance! Trust me u will all freak out in the theatre when all is revealed!"

Jasper Sitwell appeared as an agent of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., beginning in the feature "Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D." in Marvel Comics' Strange Tales in 1966. Maximiliano Hern&#225ndez first appeared as Agent Jasper Sitwell in Thor, and has appeared in Marvel's The Avengers and

Maximiliano Hernandez (Agent Sitwell) On Item 47 And The Avengers

The Avengers is set to arrive on blu-ray and dvd on September 25th here in the U.S. Actor Maximilano Hernandez who we've previously seen in Thor, Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant, and The Avengers spoke to WhatCulture about the Marvel One-Shot: Item 47 which is an extra on The Avengers blu-ray/dvd. On the plot of the Avengers short Item 47. Maximiliano Hernandez: Sure. Item 47 basically takes place directly after The Avengers. So, after the portal is closed [by Iron Man], my job was basically to collect the weaponry, make sure that it was securely put away by S.H.I.E.L.D. Offers up a bit more insight into the plot. Mh: Yeah, the Chitauri invasion that happened in The Avengers. Yeah, so that was basically my job. I was able to collect 46 Items and the 47th item kind of slipped through the cracks and was found by a couple, played

Watch the Entire Marvel One-Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer

Last month, a sneak peek was released for Marvel One Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer, which will be included on the upcoming Captain America: The First Avenger DVD and Blu-Ray release. Now the entire short has been released online.

Like the DVD and Blu-Ray exclusive in Thor entitled Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer stars Clark Gregg as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson as he has a small encounter on his way to New Mexico for the events that unfolded in Thor. The Consultant helped explain the time between The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2, but A Funny Thing is less about timeline and more about showing Agent Coulson kick a little butt.

Blu-ray Review: Thor – The God Of Thunder Hits Home!

Story

When I first saw Thor I had some problems with it, I enjoyed it but it wasn’t fully there for me. It’s now been almost five months since I last saw it and I’ve been looking forward to giving it another go.

The movie follows our title character Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the arrogant but powerful God of Thunder who is also the son of Odin (Anthony Hopkins) the King of Asgard. Thor’s arrogance soon gets the best of him as his actions re-spark an ancient war between his people and the Frost Giants of Jotunheim. Odin banishes his son to Earth until he is considered worthy, during his time on with humans he befriends an astrophysicist called Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) who helps him learn what it means to be a true hero and find a way to return home. All the while with Thor

Marvel Short Preview: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer Starring Clark Gregg

Marvel Studios is giving fans a little extra in their upcoming DVD releases.

Yesterday's Thor DVD and Blu-Ray release included Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant, a short that stars Clark Gregg as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson and bridges the gap between Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk, which both take place before Thor in the timeline of Marvel's Cinematic Universe.

The latest short, released by cinematographer David Myrick (via ComingSoon), is Marvel One Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer, which again stars Gregg and shows what happened to Coulson before he arrived in Albequerque, New Mexico, for Thor. Gregg recently spoke to Crave Online about the short and what fans could expect.

Thor – Blu-ray Review

The Film:

They say in movies anything is possible, especially with our current technology to bring our imaginations to life. But adapting Marvel Comics’ Thor? Why that would seem as silly as a big budget remake of Hercules in New York, and yet doubters be damned. Kenneth Branagh has delivered an easy-going, richly simplistic tale of the God of Thunder. As Thor tells Jane about the nature of his world, our world, “I come from a world where magic and science are one-in-the-same“, so true is Thor.

Premiering in Journey in Mystery #83 back in 1963, Thor has always been the odd-man out in the Avengers canon, due to his role as a God, where as the other superheroes are science-based. To make this film work, the screenplay had to be a delicate example of honoring the history of Thor from the comics, as well as acknowledging our modern reactions towards a

A/V Room: Thor 3D Blu-Ray Limited Edition

Thor 3D Blu-Ray Limited EditionParamount Home Entertainment2011/Rated PG-13/Running Time 114 minsList Price: $54.99 - Available September 13, 2011Marvel's grand movie scheme had me a tad nervous about a year ago with the release of their sequel to Iron Man. The film was an entertaining and engaging follow-up to the 2008 original that established Marvel as a bona fide movie studio. It not only made star Robert Downey, Jr. a commodity in Hollywood, but initiated a plan where various comic book characters would be brought to the silver screen in separate yet interconnected films. The sequel wasn't as well made a film as the original, with its weak plot and rather poor story. It felt more like Iron Man 1.5 rather than a second chapter designed to take the series to the next level and that may be due in part to the fact that it was made so quickly. With Marvel's latest release,

Three "Avengers" questions answered by "Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant"

  • IFC
Last month, Marvel revealed plans to release a pair of short films aimed at tying up some of the loose plot threads left dangling by "Thor," the "Iron Man" films, and the rest of the Marvel movie-verse in the lead-up to "The Avengers."

The first of these short films, "Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant," is included as a bonus feature on the "Thor" Blu-Ray. However, since the Blu-Ray has arrived a little early in some countries, "The Consultant" has already found its way online.

Not only does the four-minute short bridge the gap between "Iron Man 2" and "The Incredible Hulk," it also answers three big questions that fans have been buzzing about as we get closer to "The Avengers." You can watch the video below for yourself, but you'll want to pay extra-close attention to make sure these three elements come through loud and clear:

Q: What happened to Emil
