Although she is now out of the psychiatric ward, Linden will not give up on the investigation. She asks Gwen to use her father's influence in Washington to get a federal warrant to search the casino. Gwen has a tense confrontation with her father but gets it in the end. The FBI raid the casino and apparently find nothing. Linden has in fact recovered the city hall key card she saw. It doesn't lead them to the Mayor's office as expected but to another office in the building. Stan meanwhile is ordered by mobster Janek Kovarski to eliminate Joseph Nowak. Stan refuses but Janek knows how to get what he wants. He's in for a bit of a surprise however. When Stan gets home, there is a surprise awaiting him. On the election trail, Richmond is facing the public disclosure of his attempted suicide. Written by garykmcd

So Much to Absorb
22 January 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

I know there are things that are quite contrived. Sarah is out and once again they are after the key card. With the help of Gwen, they get an FBI warrant and go to the Casino. They tear up the floor and find nothing. Then, when Sarah and Holder leave, she reveals the key card with the blood on it. Richmond is visited by the Mayor who says he knows about the suicide attempt and will reveal it if he doesn't withdraw. Lots of infighting and intrigue. There is a final rally for Richmond where he plans to resign the campaign. On another front, Stan has given the boys a bulldog and they are thrilled. Things are going well with Terry in command, but that is short lived. Just as Stan gets some good news, Janek shows up and threatens his children if he doesn't perform a hit. Stan has no choice. I won't spoil what plays out from there. But the pot is boiling. Sarah continues to do really stupid things, especially taunting the Indian community.
