Goodnight Burbank Picked Up for TV

Goodnight Burbank, the critically acclaimed original web series all about awkward workplace chemistry of the cast and crew at a Southern California local area news network, just joined the likes of Childrens’ Hospital, Sanctuary, and In the Motherhood in the pantheon of web shows picked up by TV. Hopefully it will fare more like the former on its new medium than the latter. Mark Cuban’s HDNet acquired the rights to Goodnight Burbank creator and star Hayden Black’s fourth and most recent 30-minute iteration of the five-year-old online original. Lacey Rose at The Hollywood Reporter broke the news and notes the deal came to be after Cuban reached out to Black via Facebook message. The cable television channel will broadcast Goodnight Burbank's season one in full beginning October 12. Until then, you can still catch the episodes on Hulu. Femme Fatales Goes Supernatural for 'Haunted'

If you haven't been watching Cinemax' sexy new noire thriller series Femme Fatales, you really don't know what you're missing. Shouldn't one look at Tanit Phoenix, seen right, be enough?

This Friday sees the seventh episode of Cinemax' new sexy series Femme Fatales, a pulpy, episodic anthology of tales where powerful and dangerous women use their survival instincts to escape perilous situations and exude their inner guile. 

The series, borne out of the creators of Femme Fatales Magazine draws its inspiration from film noir and graphic novels, placing the stories in contemporary setting.  Tanit Phoenix (Death Race 2)'s "Lilith" introduces each episode, which feature different casts and storylines, some of which are intertwined.
