It's now been confirmed that one of those characters will be coming back, as Emmerich tweeted last night that Jeff Goldblum will appear in the sequel, likely reprising his role as the brainy and dryly humorous David Levinson, who teamed up with fighter pilot Captain Steven Hiller to take down the mothership in the original film. Smith will not be coming back to reprise his role as Steven.

Yeah, It’s Zombies – A Review Of Scream Factory’s Cockneys Vs. Zombies Blu-Ray

What the hell is a cockney? I have friends all around the globe, including several in London, but I still had no idea what a cockney was. Apparently, cockney is a term used to describe people from East London. So, now you know, that Cockneys Vs. Zombies is a film about a group of people from East London, fighting off a zombie outbreak. I first became aware of this film when it was announced as a film that would be shown at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. Jeff was on location at the festival, along with Tld homie, Kirk Haviland. You can find all of the festival coverage here. Jeff’s thoughts on Cockneys Vs Zombies, as well as the other films that played on that specific day of the festival can be found here. I have always had an interest in seeing this film, but not due to the title.

20 Questions With Master Of Horror Steve Niles

Steve Niles is best known for creating 30 Days of Night, the comic that inspired the movie, but he is a man with fingers in a lot of pies. Since the early 1990s he has worked for pretty damn near every comic company, big and small. He has written Batman, The Creeper, Spawn, 28 Days Later, and X-Files, as well as his own creations Cal McDonald, Simon Dark, Mystery Society, and more. Generally eschewing super-heroes for the horror genre, he has gained a large following of dedicated fans.

With his strong Diy attitude and outspoken push for better creator rights, women’s rights, gender equality, and animal rights, Steve is a man of principle. He is also one of the nicest and most gracious people in comics. Steve always has time to interact with his fans, both online and at conventions or signings.

He has generously taken time out of his busy schedule,

Blu Review: Dead Souls

  • Cinelinx
When reviewing movies, it's sometimes hard to judge them fairly by the mediums they were created for. For instance, to come down as hard on a TV-movie created on a small budget as you do a bigger one like the A Nightmare on Elm Street remake would be unjust. That's how I tried to look at Chiller's Dead Souls.

Johnny Petrie (Jesse James) inherits an old farmhouse on his 18th birthday from a family he didn't even know he had. Tired of living under the thumb of his overprotective aunt (Geraldine Hughes), he decides to visit his boyhood home and solve the mystery as to who he really is. Upon arriving, he discovers his father (J.H. Torrance Downes) was a local preacher in the small Maine town. He went crazy one night and murdered his entire family, leaving the restless spirits of his mother (Elizabeth Irene) and siblings (Kyle Donnery

Chiller TV gets into the horror anthology game with their first ever horror anthology Chilling Visions: 5 Senses of Fear. The show airs this Friday, May 31st at 9pm Et. All this week Chiller has been screening five films that this quintuplet of directors have been involved in leading up to Friday night. So what we get are five short films by 'up-and-coming' writers/directors, all of which are based on the five senses: Smell, Sight, Touch, Taste and Hearing. Not a wholly original idea but I am willing to let it pass...
