Trivia

During the scene where Greg and Jennifer walk back from lunch, he asks which teacher she has: Powell or Pressburger. This is a reference to Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, the film making team collectively known as The Archers. When Greg mentions that Powell is better than Pressburger, this is a reference to Michael Powell's status being more well known than Pressburger. See more »

During the opening credit sequence, just after the credit for music supervisor is shown, the character of Greg turns off a car radio (and turns off the credits) to ask if they must continue to listen to the music. The character of Will says that they must and turns the music (and the credits) back on. See more »

Alternate Versions

Some versions of the film omit the 10-minute long rant about soccer moms, etc. and replaces it with an extended scene of Melissa showing Greg the good grade on her test. All in all this version runs about 8 minutes shorter than the original. See more »
