Storyline

After the averted Cuba missile crisis and Jackie's return, JFK seems back on the rails in political and private life. He and his presidential entourage tour the country to rekindle his popularity in view of reelection prospects. During the visit to Dallas, Secret Sevice protection fails to prevent previously non-notable sniper Lee Harvey Oswald from taking aim and prematurely ending the first Catholic presidency. His family and country are shocked, even the world. Written by KGF Vissers

Goofs

At the time the President is shot, his mother, Rose, is encouraging his father to stand from his wheelchair. As he does so, a bulletin on the TV announces the shooting. In fact Joe was not aware of the assassination for some time; when he wanted to watch TV, the family didn't want him to see the news, so they told him it wasn't working. He pointed out that was because it wasn't plugged in, at which point Teddy pulled the lead out of the back of the set so it couldn't be used. See more »
