Storyline

Shaken by Gus's calm violence, Jesse cokes up; bleary-eyed and jittery, he throws a party. Walter, believing it's kill or be killed, buys a snub-nosed .38 on the black market, intent on shooting Gus and Mike. Skyler looks to launder money at a car wash, and, to Hank's increasing irritation, Marie insists on cheering his every step. Men deliver boxes of minerals and pick up boxes of crystal. Quotes

Walter White: So how does it look?
Lawson: You mean as in, do I see it?
Walter White: Yes. Do you see it?
Lawson: Basically, any lawman worth his salt's going to spot that, yeah. Assuming that's a deal breaker?
Walter White: Yes. It's a deal breaker.
Lawson: Well, if stealth is what you're aspiring to, you best go with something more compact - .38 Special, snub nose. Got a concealed hammer so it doesn't catch on your belt when you draw. Tried and true, no nonsense about it.
Walter White: Five shots?
Lawson: Yep.
Walter White: Automatic has how many?
Lawson: Ten in the mag, one in the chamber. If you ...

Walter Got His Gun or I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry
6 May 2018 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

This episode has to do with powerlessness. Walter and Jesse have so much money, it's beyond belief. But Walter lives under a cloud with Gus out there. He gets a gun to try to kill the guy but it ain't gonna happen. Jesse is throwing it around, trying to impress his low life friends, and falling into a pool of pity. Hank is even worse. He is not producing anything. He is having minerals delivered to his house. Marie keeps the faith. But she is also damaged goods.
