Carmaux, chargement du coke (1896)

This film from the Lumiere Brothers has a large group of people with wheel barrels picking up a bunch of scrap. Obviously when you're watching these old movies there's not going to be any sort of plot or anything else. Usually the camera was just set up to capture anything that was going on and these movies would become known as actuality films. This one here is entertaining because you get to see some interesting things including the type of clothing that was worn during this period. You also get a good look at the type of tools that were being used and I must say the site of the wheel barrels was quite interesting.
